3h greek lesson and i spent another 2.5h reviewing the materials afterwards.

Trying to draw some arguably pretty pictures to help memorising (i tend to remember where i put the word and when i know the page, i know at least what it's about)

I think part of the reason I’m so obsessed with MXTX’s works is the way that each story seems to hold you gently as say “Your kindness mattered. It didn’t alleviate the suffering, it did not undo the pain. But your kindness mattered.”

Kindness could not erase Luo Binghe’s abuse, but it changed the story into a kinder one.

Kindness did not stop Wei Wuxian’s death, but it did save a-Yuan.

Kindness did not undo Xie Lian’s suffering, but it renewed his sincerity to help others.

Kindness did not change the entire world, but it helped create a softer future.

Its such a nice message, that maybe kindness will not protect you, maybe you don’t see the outcome of it, but you should still try to be kind, and I love that honestly.

Has anyone else noticed that as a society, we’re shamed for wanting to sleep? Sleeping in is bad, naps are only okay if they’re 20 minutes, you cant be tired unless you’re a <insert career/lifestyle choice here>, so on and so forth.

I mean, I think we all need to spread our blankets out, cuddle a pillow, and go to sleep. Everyone needs more of it, fuck this “it’s not productive” nonsense. It’s okay to sleep, it’s okay to want to sleep. You’re not lazy because of it.

I need this. We all need this.

I've been sleeping 5,5-6 hours for more then 10 years and thought it was ok until very recently i had some health issues and tried sleeping 8 hours.

It's a blessing

It's not a waste of time

Sleeping 5 hours is, because it makes me less productive + i waste time to "wake up" properly + i feel worse in general

I have kinda accidentally enrolled in a 2 months course on modern Greek... It should end in September and it's time to think why I am doing this and whether I would like to continue.

I like the language, it feels cozy and there's a thing I appreciate greatly, i can actually pronounce all of its sounds.

But what do i do with it next?..

If someone throws their shoe at you, just. grab it. Put it in your bag. It's your shoe now. Hate is throwing a shoe at your enemy and expecting them to be shoeless or idk I'm not buddhist. You could just start running. They're not going to catch you, they'll either have to chase you one-shoed or take the time to remove the other shoe to chase you barefoot. They have one shoe and you have three. Use it as a planter or something. That's your trophy now.
