I always thought the name "Animal Crossing" was a bit misleading, as your villagers act more or less 100% human, so I guess this shows their "animal side" or something, I dunno.

It's also really weird to draw in black and white, as a nauseating abundance of color is a sort of staple of my stuff.

A Rare Experience

I feel like I should apologize for the lack of updates - in this past month I started work on a few other comics, but ended up scrapping them. Any-who, this comic is inspired by Rare’s Banjo Kazooie, for the N64! It’s a brilliant platformer and it’s got fantastic theming. I love it to death.

The Wooden Fiddler

I am really digging this whole hand-drawn look and feel – it’s a really unique and fuzzy sort of style, and the great side effect to it all is that this helps me get better at drawing.  Coloring, my favorite part about this entire project, was oddly what I spent the least amount of time on. I just set a couple adjustment layers and I was on my way.

I’ve been playing through Wind Waker recently, so that should explain the influx of Zelda artwork.  Now that I think about it, pretty much all I’ve done today is play Wind Waker and make art inspired by it O.o

This started out with little Link looking at a large Boss Door, but somehow that turned into him staring down a dark doorway.  I figure maybe because this is a bit more adventurous and apprehensive.
