It's a long weekend so I had time today. I'm gifting you with twitter memes. And for those who enjoy R&B and/or NPR Tiny Desk Performances, notification that Usher’s is on Youtube. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cfkaw4BJdLJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Like many, I've been processing the 75 minutes police waited outside of the Uvalde Mass shooting and reports of tackling parents who wanted to intervene to save children's lives. This article discussing the ruling from the Parkland Massacre may provide insight. “Police officers, in fact, generally are not under any legal obligation to protect citizens who are not in their custody.”
I'm going to spend some time Googling what funding the police actually means for community safety since “Neither the Constitution, nor state law, impose a general duty upon police officers or other governmental officials to protect individual persons from harm — even”

1. Remember when I use to post a weekly family photo!? The personality. 2. Father’s really just MacGyver parenting. “@peatyrayred April thought she caught me slippin’…” 3. Doing your best 4. Stop finding ish for us to clean!!!! TikTok made me realize none of use really learned how to deep clean. This past week I deep cleaned my dryer lint trap after TikTok informed me it is actually a black hole to the forth dimension if you remove the tray and attempt to clean it. I half filled a grocery bag with lint and my vacuum cleaner died in the process. 5. Leaving this here because these kids just… deep spiritual sigh 6. My husband I have made special plans to frolick this week. 7. My love language… 8. Give yourself credit 9. Why has everything gone up 200% or cost a minimum of $200?! Whyyyyy! 10. Nathan and I were on the news…. #inmyfeelings #raisingself https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd3qXI9pDhF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
In the midst of so much transition (moving, back to school, back to work, and more…), I am overcome with peace. A glow up that Gawd has been growing in me. This week is another hodgepodge of things that made stop in my tracks, laugh out loud, smile and/or pause to ponder. Which one spoke to you? https://www.instagram.com/p/CTdb0MFlD3_/?utm_medium=tumblr
