Phil and S. Korea (forgive me for making a lot of accounts but I have to delete many apps for space.)

look when i first came across indophil, i really loved the idea of an emotionally constipated indonesia that just couldn’t bring himself to actually tell an oblivious philippines that he loved him. but after a few days i’ve also come to fall in love with the idea of oblivious himbo indonesia who thinks that all of phili’s excessive flirting with him is just him being a really touchy friend. 

so like imagine, timor-leste is the newest member of ASEAN, right? and they notice that phili is like really really touchy and flirty with indonesia, who allows it, and they ask the other ASEAN members if indophil is a thing. thailand, who founded ASEAN with indophil and are used to all their romantic tension, has to explain to them that no, they actually aren’t. 

indo and phili happen to chance on the conversation and are curious what all the fuss is about. thailand explains the situation, and also that he, singa, and malaysia have given the exact same talk to every single new member of ASEAN because it’s just a really common question and by this time its practically an unofficial initiation ceremony that they tried really hard to keep indo and phili from knowing about.

timor-leste apologizes a lot because it’s because of them that indophil have found out, and thailand waves it off. he then asks indo and phili if they’re okay with “the talk” and all that

phili, the sunshine boy, laughs it off. he pats indonesia by the arm and says, “well, it’s been 50 years since we’ve founded ASEAN and everybody knows how much i like indo at this point right? he’s such a gentleman really, he never said anything about it! it’s just his way of letting me down gently, right indo darling? <3”

meanwhile indo is having an entire internal crisis. what does this mean. does phili actually like him back? but he thought phili was just a natural flirt. didn’t phili used to have a thing with brunei? or mexico? or south korea? what’s all this “i like indo” business? why is phili so nonchalant? wait, did phili like him the entire time? is that why phili holds on to his arm every time they walk beside each other? is that why phili keeps talking about how strong and muscular he is? is that why phili keeps calling him babe and darling and love? how come phili didn’t say anything? have they been wasting half a century?

so after a few seconds of getting his brain to function again, indo just leans down and gives phili the filthiest kiss he can manage until the poor boy practically collapses in his arms in dazed happiness. then indo just stares blankly at the shocked faces of thai and timor leste and says, “hey. i don’t think you need to tell people that me and phili aren’t dating anymore”
