Why do Nene and Pico get their shoe decorations in FNF but not Darnell? He just gets yellow laces

I'm genuinely curious as to why he was changed. Maybe they didn't know what the yellow part of his shoe was so they went with laces instead??? But why did they have no trouble with Nene and Pico's decorations? I kinda wish he still had them, then they'd all match. They're all friends, they have cute semi-matching shoes!!

I made a post once about the FNF gang and how they would cook their marshmallows, but I'd like to change my thoughts on Darnell

He wouldn't eat burnt marshmallows because he wouldn't even have a mallow left to eat. He'd let it burn and tell everyone "just a little longer" and that turns into ten minutes of watching his food disintegrate. Sometimes Pico will make him one while Darnell is busy burning his so he has one to eat

this may be controversial from my very based and correct followers but I actually think otis x darnell COULD be cute if it was just very specifically unrequited

idk I just have a bit of a soft spot for that trope, like the kid crushing on their hot teacher even though it will never really happen. its such a common experience and its a little bit endearing, especially when the older character never even entertains the idea of them getting together but still cherishes the younger one anyways. its sweet idk

like I can imagine otis trying to hang around darnell and copy him so Darnell thinks he’s cool and grown up like him and then getting jealous when he thinks pico is “stealing darnell away” even though he doesn’t have the slightest bit of a chance with him</3

maybe this is a complete misunderstanding of otis as a character and the real otis heads are gonna have to tell me im wrong and stupid and “no actually he isn’t a stupid baby like that shut up” but idk just a thought
