Night Raven University [NRU] is a brand new Tumblr RP group based on Disney’s Twisted Wonderland, set around a 4-year university (not a high school!). Story-wise, the events of Night Raven University replace those of Night Raven College’s canon timeline, so for many characters arriving at the university, this is their first big move away from home. In addition to all canon characters - with the exception of Crowley - we also accept original characters based on Disney villains and villainous concepts.

CANONICAL VERSES.
MAIN VERSE. THE FOREST KING. his heart shroud itself in vengeance, his blade splattered in blood. the night of the forest may be calm, but it’s never gentle. his sword carried the legacy of his village, and the cry of wolf spirits drowned out a gentle call.
This takes place in between the following events: Demoniac Feast and Windy Forest. yamakaze is a protector of mt. septem and regarded as the forest king. following the disappearance of kaoru after the sealander’s invasion, yamakaze sets off on the pursuit of kaoru’s whereabouts.

UNDERWORLD EMISSARY. centuries may pass and humanity may advance, but death remains unchanged. lingering spirits continue to plague the mortal realm; it’s kuro mujou’s duty to relieve them of their final burdens. lay your worries upon him, weary soul, and he shall ask: how may i avenge you?
this verse follows onmyoji’s present timeline. thus, it constantly evolves as more as it follows canonical events. kuro mujou is one-half of the underworld’s emissary duo, now with the inclusion of two younger apprentices: kuro doji and shiro doji.

CANONICAL VERSES.
as ibaraki doji’s journey throughout his story in onmyoji entails distinctive challenges, characteristics, and developmental periods, they will be categorized into different verses.
MAIN VERSE. CHIEF DEPUTY OF OEYAMA. the flames of mt. oe blaze eternally. its fire represents the tenacity of its inhabitants and the prosperity of onikind. standing proudly by his friend’s side, these very flames are what he has sworn to protect.
this verse follows onmyoji’s present timeline. thus, it constantly evolves as more as it follows canonical events. ibaraki doji has finally been cured of his demonic arm following the celestial realm arc and has returned home to mt. oe after purifying ungaikyo’s shard. tension remains high, however, as a greater evil lurks...
VERSE II. YOU MUST ACHIEVE MASTERY OVER IT. the onmyoji’s bidding words linger in ibaraki doji’s thoughts, as does the whisper of his mind’s corruption. hellfire alights his right arm, an eternal blaze that chews at flesh and threatens to devour. in a battle of will versus erosion, he is reminded once more: the pursuit of power is his only salvation.
this verse takes place prior to ibaraki doji’s allegiance to mt. oe. (see: inferno ibaraki doji’s memory scrolls + biography.) it follows his journey from having his demonic arm contaminated by the celestial entity and into his pursuit of strength, all of which eventually brings him to his fated battle against the oni king, shuten doji.
VERSE III. RASHOMON GHOST. the pain of losing his right arm amounts to nothing in comparison to the life that his friend had lost. scarlet drips from his emptied sleeve and stains the earth. a promise is weaved through pale lips: vengeance shall be a debt paid in blood.
this verse takes after the minamoto clan’s attack against mt. oe. ( onikiri’s memory scrolls + onmyoji’s introductory storyline ) it follows the storyline of shuten doji being beheaded and ibaraki doji resurrecting him thereafter. likewise, mt. oe has become silent amidst its recovery.
VERSE IV. A PAIN THAT HE WILL ENDURE. his demonic arm has finally returned to its original master after the battle of heian-kyo, but not without its prior complications. his arm now threatens to make him a vessel once more and, with the onmyoji’s seal broken, the pain has amplified. the pursuit of strength becomes all he shall ever know.
this verse takes after the sealander war and demoniac feast events. ibaraki doji has both arms once more, but has fallen in a state of incapacitation as the corruption in his demonic arm has tripled. still, with ungaikyo’s prophecy threatening to bring mt. oe to ruin, ibaraki doji cannot idle about. he is eager to aide his friend in preventing doomsday and shall do anything to protect his home, even if it means to wander into the demon domain.
