Trying my hand at the Chibi Style with Harry Potter fanart. In this one it’s one of my favourite characters, Ron Weasley. This art piece is fanart of a fanfiction called Fate, hence why he is Slytherin robes and has a glove.

Something a little different. This is a Daphne x Ron fanart. Trying out some new colouring techniques and styles. Mainly taken from fanfic Fate, in where Ron is sorted into Slytherin house and ends up forming a romantic relationship with Daphne.  Its nicely written and make sense in the context of the story. Fate - Harry Potter Fanfiction is an awesome fiction  piece, with well rounded characters and an interesting plot. Check it out!

It honestly concerns me how easily people can look past how racist Draco Malfoy was. Doesn’t matter who raised him or whatever excuse they give. Racist is still racist.

Do know who else wasn’t raised right? Sirius, Regulus, Andromeda, just to name a few. They were raised in the same or very similar conditions to Draco. The difference is that they were on the right side. They had courage ans heart and were not racist or supremacists!

Draco was just a spoiled, rich, winey, small minded self important, cowardly, blood supremacist bully who hid behind his family’s money

I’m really bothered by the fandom’s love of Draco. They create this whole abused figure as if that would be a justification for his actions (and he wasn’t even abused). He mocked Cedric’s death, was the character that most used the term mudblood in the books, made fun of Neville’s tortured parents, and so much more. His level of cruelty was always a shock to me and his whole “redemption” was based much more on his self preservation than any morals, he wasn’t a good person and doesn’t even fit in the “bad boy" trope well. The fact that people are so willing to excuse and romanticize his abusive actions (in detriment of characters like Dudley who actually apologized and showed regret) proves to me that classicism and perceived attractiveness are major players in this fandom. And the whole “it’s fiction” argument doesn’t justify anything for me, literature does not exist in a vacuum away from society, and it’s a great tool to provoke reflection regarding real problems. The number of people who are willing to excuse of bullying and racism really worries me.

Exactly….I have never liked Draco or found a single redeeming quality in him. If he wasn’t included in voldemorts plans, he wud have waited on the sidelines for innocent muggles and muggle born wizards like Hermione to be killed so he cud boast about his blood supremacy some more. Ppl write him in good light just bcoz he was played by Tom Felton and I find that very shallow. I’m glad jkr didn’t fall for all the fangirl bullshit and give him a redemption arc.
