“Fashion isn’t my thing either, but I thought since I finished early at the Bloodhound I’d stop by and begin getting the word out — not interested in disappointing Aemilia. Right now, there’s no flyer! I’ll make sure to tell her about our discussion regarding extra promotion, I’m sure it’ll help gather around a bigger crowd. You might need to talk to Aemilia about that; I’m the messenger here and nothing more. I could use a drink, though, and some food.”
“Well if I happen to come across this Aemilia I’ll be sure to discuss it with her, or you could send her my way. Whatever works.” Raleigh grabbed a menu from the stack she had under the bar and passed one to the girl. “What kind of drink can I get you while you look that over?” Not that there were that many options.

“They barely if ever fingerprint you if they’re just gonna hold you overnight. It’s like being thrown in the drunk tank, no fingerprints needed. I solemnly swear you can try to kill me if we get caught. I have all kinds of things in mind, you just have to pick a particular flavour of naughty.”
“I’m holding you to that, Keating. Hmm, well what flavours do I have as my options? Like you said, I’m the kind of girl who isn’t afraid of a stern warning so skip all the pussy shit. Give me something good.”

“This is the Tequila Mockingbird, right? Just thought I’d share the message about Aemilia’s fashion show coming up soon, so be on the look out.”
“Yeah, honey, fashion’s not really my thing but I appreciate the heads up. If you have a flyer or something and want me to find a place for it I wouldn’t mind doing that for you. Maybe do some extra promoting if there’s some kind of after party held here afterwards? Are you the person to talk to about that or would you have to get me in touch with someone else?”

For a second it seemed as thought Clarice might say something but in the end she just took the shot glass and downed the alcohol. She didn’t even bother with the lime or salt, at least not this time. “Yeah, that sounds fucking amazing.” She said setting the glass back down.
Deciding not to press the issue Raleigh took her own shot foregoing the salt but choosing to suck on the lime after. She never had much to drink while at work but she would sometimes indulge in a shot here and there if they weren’t busy. “You ever play would you rather? I was gonna say we could add some sort of drinking aspect to it but I don’t even know how that would work. Maybe I’m not as good at this as I thought but I’m open to suggestions. What do you wanna do?”

Emily couldn’t keep a giggle down, nodding in agreement to her words. “Alright, that too. Didn’t know I would be figured out so easily” she teased back a little. Even though she wasn’t into women, Em had never been too shy to admit another wasn’t beautiful. She wasn’t blind or anything, and for some mysterious reason every women in this town seemed to be as pretty. “Yeah, that would be lovely. I’m waiting for a friend, but he is known for showing up late or not at all if he feels like it.”
“Oh shut up and look who’s talking!” She wasn’t hitting on the girl but she wasn’t shy when it came to complimenting someone who deserved it either. “What can I get for you? Are you a vodka or tequila kind of girl?”

“You can still have your freedom. It’d be like a few hours max of no freedom, maybe half a night, and that’s only if we get caught. And if it’s your first time it’s just a stern warning.You look like you could handle a stern warning. Let’s show them we won’t take their bullshit.”
“There’s reasons I can’t be fingerprinted in jail so if we get caught I swear I’ll kill you but fine, you’ve convinced me. What did you have in mind?”
