Hello! I'm Ralsei from Deltarune.

I like answering questions with drawings, and I also like taking requests, so please ask or request anything you want!

I'm a fictionkin. I also form part of a did system. I'm agender, maybe genderfluid, and I use he/him, sometimes mix it with they/them.

In the future it's possible an alter uses Susie, and another alter is thinking of using one of the foxes from chapter 5... We're still thinking about it.

English is not my first language so my definition of it may vary with someone else's, because I am noticing there's differing opinions, but:

Jirai is associated with emotional instability, maybe also being intense, like showing affection in an intense way.

Jirai is tied to specific clothing style and makeup too, and not everyone who dresses or uses jirai makeup identifies as being emotionally unstable.

In general it's similar to menhera in how both terms relate to mental illness and have their own aesthetic, although they differ. I do see some people saying jirai is anti-recovery, I do not share that mindset.

I personally consider myself jirai because I am unstable, not so much volatile in anger, but rather suffering of episodes that make me scream and have big moodswings. I also am not very intense when showing affection.

I honestly do consider myself menhera too. The reason I think we see more jirai crosstagging with fictionkin tags is jirai may be more widely used or more popular.

I kept feeling bad, until I turned off the lights and just let a dim light on. Then I tried to focus on things that make me feel safe. It helped a bit.

I hadn't been able to draw in ages, and suddenly I start watching Deltarune gameplays, and I keep wanting to draw things. I loved drawing everyones requests, if you have any ideas or requests or anything please send away! I want to draw Noelle soon, especially after finishing the Weird Route... In part I really related to her character. Noelle deserves to be happy.

I was thinking about me being agender or genderfluid, and theories about Ralsei being cis and non gender conforming, or transfem, or agender or genderfluid and such, and ended up drawing this. It's an everything-is-ok Ralsei!

So a lot of people are taking chapter 5 as confirmation that Ralsei is a trans girl based on the princess scene, but a lot of people miss a really cool genderfluid any/all Ralsei reading based off the butler scene:

Because we have no indication that Ralsei didn't like being masc, and he did like being a butler in chapter 2, but we do have evidence of her wanting to be fem and the happiest we see her is when she's twirling around in a dress so...

Mayhaps genderfluid? There's like no genderfluid rep in any popular media. It would be sooooo peak if Ralsei is referred to with she, he, and they in a single conversation. Please I really need this. There could be this cool contrast between NB (they/them) Kris and NB (any/all) Ralsei to show normies that NB is a spectrum all on its own.

(and maybe transitioning from it/its vessel puppet thing to they/them not-just-a-vessel Kris is still transitioning even if it's from nb -> nb but that's a conversation for a different post)

I thought when they were wearing the dress and said this they were also saying something like the image you shared of "it's rather context based", although I could be wrong.

I'd love to see more discussions for the idea of Ralsei being bigender, agender, genderfluid... Alongside the transfem theory, because I feel they fit too. Partly because I kin Ralsei, and to me, the reasons given, for example his behavior around the prophecy or his situation, are things I heavily relate to, and I, personally, didn't experience them as being about being transfem, although they did affect my gender identity. It's partly why I headcanon them as genderfluid or agender. I feel I myself am agender or genderfluid, I'm still figuring it out but it resonates.

And like you said, I don't know any genderfluid or agender characters. I would love if they could be one.
