It kinda irritates me how I didn’t know and couldn’t find a spread to fully reveal a person, so I made this.

that scum of the earth asshole from stanford is going to rot in hell for what he did and is doing, but the survivor of his attack is one badass woman showing immeasurable strength and courage through all of this unfairness. it took me several hours to read through the letter she wrote to him, but it inspired me to respond with something of my own. so much of what she wrote mirrored my experiences following my attack last summer. she mentions things like driving out to the middle of nowhere just to scream and release her emotions, staying up all night because sleeping in the dark is impossible, feeling worthless, insulted, and cheap, being scared of touches and intimacy, feeling like a completely different person altogether. her letter resonated with me. for the first time since it happened, i didn’t feel alone in my trauma. my wounds are fresh, but i am healing. her strength is helping me heal.
