FHWC#9 || Will & Foster

Though school was already a month in, Will still had no idea about any of the weird rules and what she should stay away from. On top of that, she still had zero leads as to the girls she was suppose to be looking for. Though it was getting late she was walking around the castle, trying to find places where someone might be performing strange magic. As the sun light dwindled so did the amount of other students walking around, but she was determined to find something to help her. After an hour though Will decided it was probably time to give up, but wanted to check a few more places first. 

When she finally spotted another student Will walked up to him to ask him a question. “Hey, um what time is curfew? I forget and don’t wanna get inn trouble this soon into the school year.” She asked the boy. Hopefully he would be able to answer some of her questions, as she still had a couple more but didn’t know who to ask.

Mocha walked aimlessly down the corridors, trying to avoid everyone in her path. The renovations were spectacular, defintiely a work of art in Mocha’s mind, but that didn’t mean she necessarily wanted to be there. All she could think about was her poetry. As she began to daze off, she felt a hand on her shoulder that startled her a bit. The girl turned around and looked at the person who had broken her trance, “Yeah?” She asked, “Can I help you?”

Will looked up and down the hall, lost. “Um, I’m looking for my potions class... I think I’m lost though.”

Muggle || 16 years old || 6th Year || Hufflepuff 

Ever since Will was a little girl, she’s felt as though she wasn’t where she belonged. Sure, she was popular, athletic, and got along well with others, but she always had a feeling that she didn’t wasn’t meant to be where she was. There was something more out there in the world, and Will, being adventurous and strong willed as she was, was going to find it. Will’s adventures started small:  skipping football practice to catch a train to a few towns over, telling her mother that she was just going to get ice cream and ending up in the middle of the ocean.  Will was always searching for something, even though she didn’t know what that ‘something’ was. Then, when her mother’s job sent them to England, Will was more than excited. She was finally going somewhere where maybe, just by chance, she’d finally feel like she belonged.

After Will and her mother had settled into England, Will came across a woman in a cloak behind her home who offered the girl a potion and an amulet, promising her what she had always wanted:  a sense of belonging.  But what Will didn’t know was what power the amulet held. Now at Hogwarts, Will has discovered that  although her amulet is more danger than she had expected, it symbolizes something greater than she had ever assumed. With this amulet, Will, along with a few other girls, was to become a guardian of the Vale.  But, with the dangers of the amulet and the secrets that have yet to be discovered, Will must find the other girls before it’s too late. Time is ticking and without the other’s help, Will can’t do anything to stop whatever the amulet’s power may bring…

Somewhere I Belong || Self Para

It was almost like a scene from a movie Will thought. It was pouring rain as she was on her way to sneak back into her house. Behind her home was a huge open field that led to her backyard. Right in front of her gate stood a strange person in a cloak. By the time she noticed the person it was already too late to hide so she took the tazer she kept in her pocket out and also her cell phone, ready to call the cops at any moment. “I have a weapon!” She yelled, trying to keep a safe distance. “I’m not here to hurt you!” The person yelled back, from the sound of the voice Will could tell it was a girl. “What do you want?” She asked, curious as to what she was holding. “I want to help you, you feel out of place right? Well, I can grant you powers to a world where you’ll belong.” The girl took a small step forward.

How did she know so much? Will began to let her guard down, wondering if she was telling the truth. The girl held out a vial and an amulet that was wrapped around it. “What’s that?” Will asked, wondering why it was glowing bright red in the dark storm. “If you take my offer, then you also have to take the amulet. This amulet has a lot of power though, more than you will be given. With it, you need to find four girls who will become guardians of the vale with you. These girls all have special powers but you need to find them.” The girl told her. Will walked up to the girl and took the amulet and vial in her hand. “If I do this… I’ll find out where I belong?” She asked. The girl nodded her head and so Will drank whatever was in the vial. The next day when she woke up, her mother handed her an acceptance letter to a school she had never applied for: Hogwarts.

Nathan had just gotten his wand from Olivanders the day before, now with a letter to Hogwarts and his very own wand, Nathan was more than ready for school to start on September first. After telling his mom he had to make friends before the first day, he was actually in Hogsmeade alone for the first time in what seemed like forever. Sitting on a bench, Nathan inspected his wand, it was a Maple wand with a Unicorn Hair core, it wasn’t a small wand. It was big in fact, 13 inches long. Much longer than his brother’s was, at least that he remembered he hadn’t seen it much recently as Nathan was still upset with him. Holding out his wand, Nathan moved it around a bit. “It’s just a lot of swishing right?” He said moving his wand back and forth quickly. 

Will had been wandering around the town in disbelief. How could such a place exist? Her thoughts were interrupted though by a boy waving a wand around. “Uhh... I’m no expert but I don’t think that’s right.”
