Faker than S1 Jon’s denial. Lena? Just any superior at a government job. Colin? Average man who’s worked in IT too long. Chester, Norris, and Augustus? Just a by product of the modified version of Windows NT 4.0, the business-focused predecessor to Windows 95. The Magnus Protocol is an office comedy for one Alexander J. Newel and Jonny Sims. The real horrors were the friends we made up along the way.
I love that one DND actual play with an anxious wizard with an emotional support/therapy familiar, a goblin detective with a firearm, a pirate boy who tries to emulate his father-figure, and a cleric who follows a deity with questionable “god” status, who all live in a fantasy world in which the most powerful magic is time-magic.
Living in Whitestone during C1 events must be WILD. Imagine this: The town goes to shit bc of a necromancer and her steamy vampire husband killing the nobles. Years later, two of those nobles show up again and beat the everyloving shit out of them with the help of a very… colorful cast of characters. The long lost lord (and heir) to your city regularly skips town with the aforementioned group (who turn out to be mercenaries) for extended periods of time to save the world, only to show back up to get drunk and terrorize the locals (Grog and Scanlan lol). They leave to slay some dragons, and the lord shows up DEAD like, a week later (for seemingly un-dragon related reasons) but is totally fine and back to doing meetings the next morning. Everyone knows that he’s banging at least one of the halve-elves, but no one can agree which.
Today’s ep was A Lot, but has anyone stopped to consider what Mae Hailes has been up to??? Like, is she on the run???? Is she still on the D.A.D.D.I.E.S. payroll??? Has she found a new job????? Is she still sitting at her desk playing Candy Crush????? Is she even ALIVE???? I need answers
