It is in their world but not when I'm writing. I will skip over a few months to keep it flowing. Basically telling our lore cause I decided to make the whole story for it for us. He does help on occasions to keep his character accurate and to help with certain bits of the story. It doesn't exactly follow the Ghost story line but elements are in to help it along. To know where certain times will be. Chapter lengths will vary. Might post every Friday unless I’m busy or writer’s block hits.

The next morning went the same. Breakfast and go to Copias office. Except this time it will be with more of the ghouls for the rest of the day and the next few months. She made her way to his office and made sure he had eaten, Copia replied that he had and they went off to a different room to start making the new album.
Once they arrived at the practice and recording room they got ready for the others to arrive. They didn't have to wait long as the band ghouls arrived. Ghouls started to be used when Papa Emeritus I was in power. Two of the ghouls who entered the room she recognised. Aether, that she isn't too pleased about, and the tall ghoulette that is Shadows old mate.
Copia introduced Nyx and the rest came up and introduced themselves. Apart from her old mate which Copia found odd, he'll need to ask her later. Nyx had to remember each of the ghouls and ghoulettes names.
•Dewdrop but like to be called Sodo. A fire ghoul. Small and quite a gremlin attitude. Lead guitar.
•Mountain. Earth ghoul. TALL but nice. Drums.
•Rain. Water ghoul. Shy and sweet. Bass.
•Swiss. A multi ghoul. Very, very flirty. Multiple instruments and vocals.
•Cirrus. An air ghoulette, tall but sweet. She see's why Shadow was with her. Vocals and keyboards.
•Cumulus. Another air ghoulette. Thicker build and cute. Vocals and keyboard.
•She knew Aether being a Quintessence ghoul but he was on rhythm guitar.
Once introductions were done they got into place and started doing their thing. Started making music. Deciding on the music orientation and the lyrics. The breaks they got were having food brought to them by Shadow and other staff that were in the kitchen. Nyx brought all the plates back.
Days turned into weeks and they started practicing. Weeks turned into months and the album was in the final stages of being finished. Most days were the same. Wakeup, eat, work on the album, go back to the common room and rest. She did start to hang out with the other ghouls a bit more, especially Cirrus and Cumulus. They became her ghoulette friends. The ones she would hang out with the most in the common room. She'd always try to be pleasant with Shadow whenever she managed to be around him. She was still determined with him even as annoying she might be, she will try.
The clergy set a deadline for the album and it was quickly approaching. Luckily a tight ship was run and the songs were done. The songs were named and so was the album. Copia made Nyx send out requests for artwork for the album and they got them back in time to be decided upon which would be used. This would all be picked out in a meeting with the highest clergy members, the deadline.
The deadline day was here. Everything was gathered and the Cardinal and his family ghoulette made their way to the meeting. Nyx knocked on the door and waited for them to be let in. Once they were in she saw the members of the higher clergy, amongst them were Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil. She hasn't really been in the same room with the dick for a while so now she noticed how old he has gotten with the oxygen tanks. She almost felt sorry for him. She felt more sorry for Copia not knowing his parents were in the same room about to hear the music he and the others have been working on for months.
The hearing was done, Copia was visibly nervous and Nyx tried to calm him. Much to C's surprise it was approved to be released and played. Sister Imperator picked out the artwork of the album with Copia. And with that Prequelle is an album to be released. Copia's own album. The little boy Nyx helped raise has a music album. She's so proud of him as she's sure Sister is too.
They all started to talk about doing tours and that would be soon. The clergy already have booked out venues as to the deadline C and the ghouls had to work to. They are naming the first part of the Prequelle tour Rats! on the road. It will start in May and end in August and go to Europe and North America. 31 shows in total for this tour. The album will be released in June. The next part called A Pale Tour Named Death. Starting September and ending March 2020 and going to Europe, North America, Oceania, Asia. This time 137 shows. She really does think he can do this but she does hope he'll be fine. She won't be with him again. She's done it before so she can do it again. She wrote all this down for him so he has it in notes ready for the meeting with the other ghouls he'll have to have.

Once this was all sorted they went to the ghoul common room to announce the news. They should all be there at this time as it's break time for the ghouls. Even ghouls have to have breaks.
"Um, hello. Good news. The new album has been approved and the tour is going to start very soon. So practice will start right away tomorrow." Copia announced cheerfully in his own way. The boy hasn't changed much. And with the announcement done and setting up a schedule for practice. Nyx was dismissed from today's work to rest with the others. Which she did. It was a Friday night after all. So not being on work time anymore, all the ghouls went back to their dorms and got changed into something comfortable, without the masks, then went back to the common room. All except one, Shadow. He did not take his mask off but he did get changed into something more casual than the ghouls uniform.
Nyx went over to her ghoulettes and shared some wine to chill for the evening, before heading off back to their rooms...
Nyx made her way to Copia's office to start her work day. Walking to the door and knocked upon it.
The first thing she saw was the big ghoul, Shadow, from yesterday opened the door. "Morning" Nyx said surprised. More so to see him in Copia's office.
"Morning" Shadow replied back in a huff.
They just looked at each other for a bit until the Cardinal asked who it was. Shadow stepped to the side and let Nyx in. "Oh Nyx there you are, how about we get on with the day then" Copia looked up and said happily to see her. If he was going to get through the day, he definitely needed the help from someone from his past. "Shadow, you can go if you want. You know your tasks for today." He dismissed the ghoul respectfully. The ghoul bowed his head towards Copia and left.
Nyx noticed the plate of food on his desk and asked about it. He replied that he gets it sent to his office so he can work while he eats. He always wants to be the best at his work, like back then, even if it exhausts him. The short ghoulette realises Shadow must be an assistant of Copias. She was curious so decided to ask her Cardinal. "So, C. What does that Ghoul do? Shadow?"
"Oh, he helps Sister Imperator and I as well as making and bringing food" He answered her question. So he's a food ghoul and assistant. "Why? Have you met all the new ones yet? It seems you have something up with Shadow" Copia bashed onto her with questions and words.
Nyx blushed, thanking the mask her new boss couldn't see it. "What!?" she spluttered. "I only met him and another yesterday. I... doesn't matter. I'm sure I'll be meeting more soon and you should eat that C. Before you ask I have eaten." Nyx went on from her splutter.
He just looked at her for a while before saying, "yes I will eat but you will be meeting the others tomorrow more. You'll be with me while the new album is being made. So you'll meet the ghouls I will make the music and tour with. I've been asked to do the new album." She did wonder who was taking over the music aspect of the ghost project next. Of course it was C, it has Sister's involvement written all over this. He went on as he went to his desk "you will help me everyday, being a personal assistant. I'll tell you the tasks daily. While I'm on tour you'll stay here and report anything important that happens in the ministry."
Okay, so she has just gone back to her old tasks but with an older Copia. She asked what to do while he had breakfast, he gave her some papers to read through. It seems to be about important meetings. All this seems like stuff she's been through before.
After he ate it was time to get onto the tasks of the day. Nyx picked up his plate and said she'd take it back to the kitchen. She did that and noticed Shadow in the kitchen. Definitely a food ghoul. Must still be doing food, probably for the siblings of sins. Not to disturb any of the ghouls and siblings work, she dropped off the plate and left to go back to the office.
Once back at the office the Cardinal and the ghoulette got onto the day tasks. Meetings upon meetings, paperwork upon paperwork. Lunch and dinner was brought to the office by her new ghoul interest. She practically had to force C to eat and to go back to where his room to rest at the end of the working day. While the siblings and clergy went to mass, the ghouls were in their common room.
So Nyx went back there but went straight to her room. The others were laughing and having a good time with each other. She'll get to know more of them tomorrow so there is no point in trying to get into their space for now. She couldn't sense Shadow in the common room so she didn't want to stay.
The ghoulette got to her room and got dressed for rest. She decided to just watch something tonight to go to sleep. So that's what she did till she passed out...
Nyx finally got back to her dorm room. She was lucky enough to have it to herself. Most of the others had to share. Whether it be a sibling of sin or ghoul. The only ones that got their own rooms were those who are part of the clergy. The top of the ministry.
'Maybe being the family ghoulette to the heads of the ministry and the Ghost project helped.' She thought while slightly smiling. She doesn't want to think she gets special treatment but it feels like it as the chance of her sharing was high. There were so many new ghouls and ghoulettes. Band mates or protectors/assistants of the ministry. Guess life pulled the good straw for this.
The night ghoulette pulled off her new mask and set it aside on a clear part of the desk next to her. Next taking her uniform off to put her comfortable close on. The clothes consisted of an Ice Nine Kills (The Silver Scream) t-shirt and black sweatpants.
Nyx's tail swished while sauntering over to her bed. She enjoyed her time being unmasked. She can be herself. Nothing to contain her. Her 4 horns can be free and no magic being used to disguise them under masks. Less chance of a headache. Finally getting to her bed and smashing down onto it with a huff. With her horns she can't go face down so she flopped onto her back.
Looking at the clock in the room she found it wasn't that late yet. Not late enough to sleep. So the ghoulette looked at her bedside table to see a book. Nyx decided to read it. It was a Steven King book. It should help pass the time. She really didn't want to continue reading in the common room. Luckily she did have her own copy of The Phantom of The Opera, she just couldn't be bothered to get it out of her bookcase.
Nyx continued reading until she passed out...
When she awoke in the morning the book was on her. The page number lost. She realised she never got under the covers and she slept abnormally well. She always didn't sleep well as she contributed it to being a night/galactic ghoulette. Seems that the day before got to her. New ghouls and ghoulettes. Copia. Old mate. New work.
New work. Starting today.
She really wasn't looking forward to it. The only bits that interested Nyx was seeing and working with Copia as well as getting to know this new ghoul. Shadow. She is determined to make him like her or at least tolerate her. They were getting somewhere yesterday. Hopefully she doesn't lose that. She knows she can be a bit much sometimes.
She checked the time and found it was still a couple hours away till they start so Nyx decided to take the morning slow. Take a bath then get ready for the day. Which included putting the uniform on, as well as a corset, her new makeup and mask.
After this was all done it left her with 30 minutes to eat breakfast. She remembered that from the list Copia gave her that it was in the community space for the ghouls/ghoulettes. So she went to the area she was meant to be in, seeing it fairly full of the others.
Nyx spotted a few new ones she knew of, like Aether and Shadow's ex mate, but made no attempt to stop by them. Though she does wonder what their role were here. She knows she should interact with all the new ghouls but one more day of not wouldn't hurt. Right?
From the ones that were there, she couldn't spot Shadow. He must be an early riser.
'I wonder what his role is. I must ask him whenever we bump into each other again' she thought while just standing watching the others.
She decided to go over to eat something. Just some pastries will do. As she now has to visit her dear Copia to get on with the days tasks.
Picking a book out, Nyx decided to go sit down somewhere. Most of the places were taken but she spotted a place she could go. The only place. Next to another ghoul on the sofa couch.
So there she sat, next to a ghoul she'll have to work with. She glanced over to see the ghoul was reading an Edgar Allen Poe collection book. She found this interesting and saw who the ghoul was. The one she met, well literally bumped into, earlier.
She decided to be nice, as requested, and talk to him about it. Nyx looked up at him and asked "So Edgar Allen Poe huh? Was that the book you were reading earlier when you know I...?"
He just looks at her.
"Okay. Again, I am sorry for practically bumping into you earlier. I was not expecting anyone to be there. It's normally pretty quiet around there." She explained "I also think we should start over and properly introduce ourselves. Well only if you want to as well but we'll be working with each other so may as well" Nyx rambles on. "I'll go first then. My name's Nyx and I've been here for a while so if you're a new ghoul, I can help. I've been here since the ghost project was still in the first stages. Like fresh"
He still just looks at her and says "Shadow." He continues with, "and I have been around since the Infestissumam album. Papa Emeritus II. I'll be fine, little ghoulette."
"Oh, I've just never seen you around or you know picked up your scent. I'm surprised we've never bumped into each other earlier. No pun intended there." Nyx said shocked.
They went back into silence and stopped looking at each other. Really just looking around trying to avoid the awkward air now around them.
Shadow then glanced at what Nyx picked up to read. Intrigued and thinking she only did that to sit somewhere or to annoy him.
"So The Phantom of the Opera then" he asked amused.
"Yeah, and? It's one of my favourites. I quite like the gothic, dark and romantic novels. Dracula and Frankenstein are two more of my favourites." Replied Nyx in a huff.
Shadow lets out a small laugh but quickly composed himself then looked away. He was looking at another ghoul. A tall ghoulette to be specific. She looked to be having fun with a shorter bigger bodied ghoulette.
Nyx caught onto this and asked about it.
"Huh, nothing. Just an old ghoulette I knew" Shadow replied a bit standoffish.
"Come on, it's a safe space and I probably won't remember anyway. I can be bad at remembering sometimes. Imperator says it's one of my weaknesses" Nyx encouraged, rambling, "was she your...?"
"My mate, my old mate." He said sadly looking down at his book, "she doesn't remember me anymore. I talked to her earlier."
Nyx just looked at Shadow with sympathy, even though he couldn't see it as she is masked and he wasn't even looking at the small night ghoulette talking to him. She can get that having her old mate here also. So Nyx decides to state "if it makes you feel any better, you're not alone. My old mate is there and I wish I could forget him." She pointed to Aether but not so the other ghouls will notice her pointing. So only the ghoul sitting next to her will. "We didn't really end off on good terms."
Shadow just nods slowly then gets up. Leaving the room all together. Probably going to his dorm room. Nyx just looks at the empty space that was just occupied.
"Well, thought I recognised you. Hello Nyx."
Aether. It seemed that he noticed her pointing at him. She really thought she was subtle. There he stood in front of her. In all his annoying energy. The others seemed to think he wasn't but to Nyx he was completely. So she just looked at her book again and decided to read. Still he stood there.
"Fuck off Aether." Nyx stated to him angrily "I'm not in the mood to deal with you yet. Even after many years of being apart. I'll be civil but only when working. Around the clergy, Cardinal Copia, Sister Imperator and papa Nihil I will. When it's just us ghouls, I'm definitely not" (authors note- I don't actually hate Aether, I love him but Nyx was originally meant to only be with him then Shadow came in the picture and it had to change.)
Again, Nyx should be over it but she isn't. Having her ex mate here isn't great, even after so many years apart. The things they went through, she can't get over. All those years after her performances were wasted on him. When she could have relaxed, she lost that time.
After a few awkward moments he finally left. Nyx sighed in relief and went to put the book back to go back to her new set room.
Nyx just finished moving all her belongings into her new dorm room. It was smaller but liveable for the amount of time she'll actually be in there. She suspects she'll be forced out of her room to commune with the others in the common area and obviously work will keep her out and busy.
She's never been in a ghoul common room. Even with the past ghouls with the previous papas. She never belonged to them though. Only Nihil out of the papas she did technically belong to. The room was spacious as there will be a lot of them around at different times. Books, plush chairs, a fireplace and games.
'Games for enrichment' Nyx thought jokingly.
It seemed that some of the other ghouls were already there. Unfortunately two she could recognise the scent off them. The big ghoul she bumped into earlier in the day and a ghost from her past.
You see, dear reader, this ghost was a mate of hers before a disaster struck. Before her summoning. Back in hell, the pit. She met this particular ghoul on work in the lust ring. She was a 'spicy' performer and after one of those shows she met him. They started to meet each other after every show and got to know one another. They started to become mates but it all faded away. Soon after Nyx was summoned and wasn't sent back down there like most others ghouls have after their time.
This ghoul was Aether, fun and loving but serious when needed. Now she can see why she found that earlier ghoul attractive. They didn't end on the best of terms.
Getting out of her head again after staring at Aether, she went to look at the books. A couple were already reading so it wouldn't be too out of place to do so. She'd fit and hopefully not be noticed.
Looking through the books she noticed some good ones to read.
The next day arrives and Nyx is walking through the ministry to her destination.
'I can't believe this. Copia is older but I still need to care for him. I have to work with others. Why do I need to be there if he already has so many others assigned to him? Why do I have to change positions? Couldn't I just stay where I already was assigned to.' Thought Nyx as she was walking down the stoned corridor from her dorm room to the meeting point Sister said to go to.
Today's the day she was seeing Copia again after many years. She wondered what he grew up to be like. Still that caring young boy or has he changed? Obviously he'd look different but does he look more like his mother or father? Will he become Papa and what position is he in now to get so many assistants already?
All these thoughts were running through her head; she didn't notice the ghoul coming her way in front of her reading.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Shouted the ghoul. Nyx came out of her thoughts and looked at this ghoul. He was taller than her for sure. Maybe 5"7' while she was only 5"1'. He was on the bigger build side but Nyx is into bigger bodies.
He wore all black. Boots, jeans, tie, button up shirt and waistcoat. He had on a belt chain and one of the satanic rosary around his neck. The mask she didn't recognise. It was like what the ghouls wore who were under Papa Emeritus III but with the mouth piece cut out and black tears coming from the black eye sockets.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I was in my own head and wasn't looking where I was going. I'm on my way to meet someone" The small ghoulette apologised while the ghoul only huffed and said "Obviously. Well go then." in a condescending tone.
Nyx thought he was attractive looking even with the mask on though his attitude sure wasn't, but she was into that shit and had been treated worse back in the lust ring.
Nyx then decided to walk on and not make a fool out of herself more. The thoughts of this ghoul she'd just bumped into. While she was in her head this time she successfully didn't bump into anyone else. She arrived at her destination. In front of Copia's office door. Taking a breather then knocking.
While waiting for a response to be let in she heard crashing from inside the room. "Come in!" Called the voice.
So she opened the door and stepped in. The room was cluttered with books and pieces of paper everywhere. She was slightly concerned but just looked upon the figure she saw with awe. The little Copia is all grown up. Clearly hasn't changed a bit in personality to her.
"So are..." He finally looked up to her from looking at his paperwork. He stared at the ghoulette before him with the different eyes of the Emeritus brothers. Eyes she'd cared for. Thinking he'd seen a ghost from the past. Which he is. "Nyx? Is that really you?" He asks happily surprised.
"Well what other ghoulette has this exact mask?" Nyx asks jokingly. The mask in question was a simple silver mask like what the other ghouls in her time were given but slightly different. Hers had a mouth piece removed so her lips could be seen, her double horns and blood tears coming from the eye holes.
The difference between her and the original bandmates Nihil performed with is they were human. Sister and the dick summoned her after finding a book. She was the sacrifice but it lead to a better life. So she had a different mask to the ones in the band but still similar enough.
He runs around his desk and over to her, embracing her tightly. To Nyx he's definitely tall. She tries to position her head so her mask horns don't poke him.
"So you are one of the ghoulettes assigned to me. Sister said I'd be getting a surprise." He said, still gripping her arms. "Oh, right. Almost forgot. I need to tell you some things. This is your new mask." He walks over to the mask to pick it up and give it to Nyx. She gets a good look at what she'll be wearing for a mask now. It was like the one that ghoul wore but feminine and without the black tears. Copia goes on "You'll be wearing this one from now on to say you're a ghoul under my work. Also I'm sorry but you'll have to move into the communal ghoul dorms. You'll have your own room but have a common area to share with the others." He went back to his desk to pass Nyx a list of things that'll be changing.
Nyx stayed close to sister incase she was needed for any reason. Now she'll be with the other ghouls. Obviously she knew that happened with the other ghouls assigned with the past papas, but it just didn't with her until this point.

Breakfast time for ghouls in their community space 6-8am. Leave cooking for the cook ghouls. (Not you Nyx)
The list was nicely written, done by Copia it seems but can tell it was actually made by Sister Imperator. After years of working together she can pick up her Sister. It was just rewritten by Copia. Nyx looked up from the paper and said "So the little boy I used to babysit for is a Cardinal now. Where has the time gone." With a half smile on her face.
"I know and you'll be basically babysitting me again." The Cardinal responded happily.
'He seems happy to have me back and not angry at all that I had to leave him all those years ago.' Nyx thought cheerfully.
"Well Cardinal there is a lot to do so with your permission, can I go start those tasks?" Nyx asked respectfully. She may know him personally but he's still her boss.
Copia snapping back to being professional announced "Oh, sì. Of course you can. You should know where everything is and please find the time to meet the others. Sister has warned me that you like to be alone."
And with that the Cardinal showed the ghoulette to the door to let her out. Nyx headed out to do her tasks for the rest of the day.
Cold. That's all she felt when knowing of her new position within the ministry.
"Nyx, you have to." stated Sister Imperator within the confines of her office. Nyx, her now old personal assistant, stared at her.
Nyx has been with the Sister since the Ghost project was started and the ghouls were starting to get summoned. She was summoned by Papa Nihil to become Sister Imperators personal assistant. A gift to his love, one would say. Helping her out with everyday life. Nyx eventually fell for the Sister, still knowing she'd never get her. She let those feelings go after years.
"What!" Exclaimed Nyx "You're just gonna pass me off that easily!"
"Nyx, you twist my words." Said Sister Imperator "You'll technically still be working under me but not personally like you were."
The ghoulette watches the Sister carefully seeing what happens next. "So then, what happens now? Who is it then that I'll be with next?" Asks the ghoulette in a state.
Sister Imperator sighs and goes on to say "No you won't be, don't get frustrated. You remember Copia? My... doesn't matter. You should know. You'll be watching him again, going on to be an assistant of his with the other ghouls he's got. As well as some siblings of sin."
Nyx was there for it all. When Papa Nilih kissed the woman up front when the Ghost project was performing at the Whiskey A Go-Go. The aftermath of that and picking Sister Imperator up after the twos last night together. The twin's birth...
She was mainly assigned to babysit Copia. The sweet loving boy. Nyx was sent off with little Copia to the Psaltarian's to report back about his progress. It was hard trying to keep the secret from him, of his parents. She only left him when he was old enough to take care of himself and didn't need a 'demonic babysitter'. Going back to help Sister with the Ghost project and anything she needed personally done.
Nothing was said about the twin of Copia's. Even though Nyx was there to help Sister Imperator at the birth, she only knew of Copia. She knew there was a twin but didn't know what happened to that baby. She was sent out with her boy before news of the other one. All she knew was Copia.
Nyx did everything for the young boy to ensure he had a good loving childhood. To know he was wanted. Mrs. Psaltarian also help with that. Nyx liked that.
One instance was when the young Copia had a nightmare and came crying to her. He couldn't get back to sleep so she gave him his favourite plush toy, a little grey rat, and read him a short story then sang him to sleep.
The thing with Nyx was her coming from the lust ring. Her voice and powers, when choosing to, can have effects on people. She can make them feel how she wants them to feel. So she could easily get the young boy to sleep by a calming melody.
Nyx smiling back at these past memories stated "Yes, of course Sister. I remember little Copia."
"He isn't so little anymore." Sister smiling back replies "You'll be meeting him tomorrow and starting after it. You'll also get to know the others who have been assigned to him." She goes on to say "Now I know it's been you and I for a while but please get along with the others. That's all I ask of you."

Pictures from when I filmed with Joey. I actually do like how he came out but there are things I would change. I might need another smaller jumpsuit or just take in the top a bit. I might cut down the length of the back of the wig. Overall not that bad, he’s not a main one I’ll be doing.
