Winter violet

Hey guys, been a wile I know but college has taken over my life. I’m working on more short stories and fics. As always I’m open for suggestions and anything you would like a fic out of!

This is a short story. Kinda sad but I’m trying a new style. Let me know what you think and where I should go with it.

On that day, so long ago, as the wind blew. Taking the leaves up with the current of the air. She stood there. Her eyes glassy from the cold, and her face flushed with the pink that comes with the cool air of autumn. Her scarf hugged her neck with a comfortable tightness. It was a burgundy color with tints of brown and orange peeking through the hand knit pattern. A leaf danced across the scratchy serfaus of the sidewalk, making an almost musical noise as it made its way onto the grass. She was in another world almost, as she watched all the little things happen around her. the trees dropping their last leaves, finally giving into the might of the wind. The distant sounds of chirping coming from the birds who have yet to fly south. A tear rolled down her cheek, either from the cold, or her emotions, she couldn’t tell. She wiped her face with her scarf and closed her eyes. Crying without cause had become her normal. She had become numb to her feelings. It was easier to not feel at all, then to spend another night feeling the way she had felt for so long.

It had been almost 3 months since it happened, Since she had had a good night’s sleep, since she had last smiled, since she was last happy.

Time had become a blur, the days seemed to meld together. She felt a chill on her legs through her jeans, she looked around her, curious as to why the sudden change in temperature. A snowflake fell in front of her chilled face. Soon after the air was cloudy with little white specks. Her leather coat was no longer enough to keep her shivering at bay. She gave into the cold and started walking back to her car.

Her ears stung as the wind blew, seemingly angrily towards her. She unlocked her car and sat in the cool interior. The car engine rumbled. Not wanting to start. “you feel the cold too, huh” the girl said as she patted the dashboard tenderly. “come on ol’ buddy” she turned the key once more and the engine started. blasting the heat as she put her hands up to the warm air, her eyes peered out the window. The sky had become white, rather than the lonely gray it had been. Winter was here.

The welcoming sound of her laptop waking up filled the small apartment.

She had been very indecisive since it happened. Not sure of herself, and not wanting to do the things that she used to love. She wanted to be alone. Her feelings, she thought, will go away in time. ‘but…. do i want them to go away.. i don’t want to forget, or get over this…. i don’t know…’ she kept thinking on a loop. It didn’t make sense to her, but she knew she would never be the same.

She plopped down on the couch, Her lap warmed by the bowl of mac & chz. Opening netflix on her laptop as she took a bite of the cheesy pasta. Her eyes glazed over the computer, looking for something to watch. Her breath hitched and she stared blankly at the screen, ‘the movie… that movie….’ her eyes welled up with a familiar warmth, she couldn’t tell how long she had been there, motionless, staring at the description of a movie she knew so well. The warm liquid continued to cascade over her burning cheeks. she finally wiped her face clean and closed her computer. Her dinner had gone cold. But it didn’t matter anymore. She was in no mood to eat. She walked slowly, looking defeated as she made her way to her room, she slipped on pajamas and crawled into her ice cold bed alone. ‘i just want to forget’ she thought, even though she knew it was impossible. *click* the sound of her lamp accompanied the room turning a deep blue black as the light had gone out. “..good…night..” she said out loud to her empty home. The sting of a long cry accompanied her until she finally fell asleep.

chapter 1

Shawna was standing in the doorway of her bedroom as she saw Tessa turn off her camera wile still making the purring noise that she loves so much. “good video?” Shawna said jokingly at Tessa. “I hope” she said as she stood up from the couch and started to put her camera equipment away. Shawna thought about saying ' when aren't they good?' but she didn't want to be too nice to her best friend. “pizza tonight?” the red haired girl said abruptly shaking Shawna out of her daze. “...hmm oh.. yeah sure sounds great!” she said going back into her foggy state. “geez whats up with you?” Tessa said with a slight chuckle in her voice. To be honest Shawna didn't know what she was thinking. The brown haired girl laughed half halfheartedly at the attempted joke and went to the kitchen to get a drink.

'Shes acting weird' Tessa thought as she finished putting away her stuff and sat down on the couch.

Shawna came back a minute later with 2 glasses of water in her hands. “here” she said and put a glass on the coffee table in front of Tessa. Tessa purred in approval and thanks to Shawna then smiled. The brown eyed girl got tingly at the sound of Tessa purring in that special way that she does. She shook the felling and sat down next to Tessa and sipped her drink. Tessa took up the TV remote and started to flip through the channels.

3hrs earlier,

“hey Shawna I'm going to run to star bucks. Want anything?”   “yeah ventamiglea!” Shawna said with excitement  “okay be back soon.” Tessa said as she grabbed her bag and keys and headed out the door.

Shawna could taste the coffee already

'I might love coffee an unhealthy amount' she thought as she giggled and walked over to the couch and sat down.

“ugggggg” Shawna said with angst because her laptop had died and her cord was in the bedroom. “what now nannalew?!” she has a habit of speaking to herself when shes home alone. “how did the episode end????!!!” she exhaled for a long time before seeing Tessa's laptop and smiling one of the biggest smiles she's cracked in a wile. “Tessa wont mind, after all it is just the last 6min of SAO”. She grabbed Tessa's laptop and opened it.

After trying to crack her best friend's pass-code for a few minutes she stopped and took another look at the hint (LOVE) and tried to think. Out of the blue she typed (SHAWNA) and hit enter. (CORRECT) the screen went blank and so did the brown eyed girls mind. 'why would her password be my name??' she thought as an open browser page popped up one the screen of the laptop.

Shawna stared in shock at the page witch her best friend/ roommate had left open on her laptop.,

Shawna felt dizzy as she read the first paragraph of whatever the hell this is.

“I cant read this” she said as she shut the laptop. Her cheeks were bright red as the words that she read echoed in her head. She put the laptop back where it was and sat motionless on the couch. The door opened to her apartment and nearly gave Shawna a hart attack as Tessa walked in. “hey, sorry I was gone so long. I decided to go to the store and get some cookie dough for later.... whats wrong?? you okay??.” she had obviously noticed the sickly pale look on Shawna's face. “oh.. nothing!.. Its just …..umm.... raw cookie dough is bad for you!..” she said unconvincingly. “umm okay then." Here's your coffee.” Tessa said as she set the coffee down on the counter and put away the cookie dough in the freezer. “thanks Tess...  I'm gunna take a bath.” she said as she grabbed the coffee and practically ran to her room.

Sitting in her bath tub, her hair up in a messy bun, the smell of the bubble bath soap she uses and the one candle that is resting on the edge of the tub would make for a nice relaxing soak you would think. But Shawna's head feels like its treading in a shark infested ocean. The same questions keep entering her mind. Shawna changed positions in the tub. Now leaning against the wall with her legs stretched out  (as far as they can be in a tub) she try's to make sense of the thoughts inside her brain. “Okay, so, Tessa likes to read explicit sexual things that fans write about us.... is that a bad thing? you know it could be considered flattering. I mean. I never thought of reading them myself..... wait so Tessa likes me?? is that what it means?” Her head is spinning at the speed of light. “I never thought of Tessa as a lesbian. Huh. She is cute and funny and sexy as hell.” As she thought this last thing she pictured Tessa in her blue striped bikini that fits just a little to small. Shawna felt a twitch where she normally doesn't. It snapped her out of her daydream very fast. 'WHAT THE HELL? Shawna thought as she replayed what just happened in her mind.

Shawna got out of the tub a few minutes later. After draining the water, blowing out the candle and drying herself off. She went over to her bed and fell face first into the messy pile of sheets and pillows. She scrambled up to the head of her bed then kicked off her sheets and laid on her back looking up at the sealing. Shawna was emotionally exhausted from all the work her brain was doing to try to work out what these new found feelings meant. ' do I like like Tessa in that way?' she asked herself blatantly. “Honestly, I think I might...” with this her hart felt about 20 pounds lighter. She breathed out with a small smile on her face. She felt giddy. A word she never thought would describe her. She said it over and over in her mind “I Shawna Howson like like Tessa Violet.”

after a wile Shawna heard talking from outside of her room. She went over to her door and cracked it (because she was still naked) she saw Tessa talking to her camera. Presumably making another YouTube video. Shawna shut her door and sat back on her bed. Seeing Tessa sitting there made Shawna's thoughts go blank for a minutes. “Wait... what if she doesn't feel this way about me?” Shawna thought as her face fell. “you know, its probably just a crush, I don't love her... no I don't love her,..... I... can't...” Shawna sat there with a blank expression on her face then after a wile she stood up. “Yeah” she thought to herself “its just because of what I read..” Shawna got dressed in lose fitting pj pants and a white tank with a pink laced bra that was more visible than it should be. She walked to her door and opened it then leaned against her door frame watching Tessa finish recording her video.

Shawna was in her weekly don’t disturb me bath ( as she liked to call it ) she had soft music playing in the background as she washed her long brown hair. She shaved her legs then she washed her body with a new vanilla scented body wash. In the hopes Tessa would notice. She got out of the bath and dried herself, then put her hair in a towel to dry. She picked out some short pajama shorts, a see-through white tank-top and Tessa’s favorite pink lased bra. She got dressed ( if u can call it dressed with what little cloths she has on) she put on some makeup and fixed her hair witch By some miracle it had mostly dried. She looked at herself once over in the mirror to make sure she looked perfect for the red head she loved.

Shawna walked over to the couch in-front of Tessa who was intently looking at the screen. Shawna reached out and closed her laptop stopping what the girl was watching.”hey?! What was that fo..” she looked up mid sentience and saw the brown eyed girl standing there with a beckoning look in her eye and a smirk on her face. Tessa stood up no longer needing to finish her sentence because this is way better than any TV show. Tessa smiled at Shawna as she reached out her arms and wrapped them around Shawna’s waist. She pulled her close to her so that there lips were inches apart. Shawna leaned in to make long awaited contact. Shawna’s lips were soft. She felt like she could melt into them and never stop. The red head leaned forward deepening the kiss and making Shawna lean back. Tessa bit Shawna’s lower lip playfully. Shawna couldn’t help but let a small moan out for the pure skill if Tessa’s tongue. Tessa pulled away, much to the dismay of Shawna who fells a longing for her. Tessa holds her close and begins to kiss down Shawna’s neck and rests on her pulse point. “…bed..room..” Shawna manages to say between small intakes of breath. Tessa nods at her and takes the girl by the hand leading her to Shawna’s bedroom. Tessa spins Shauna around at the foot of the bed and gives her a light push so she falls back on the bed. The green eyed girl slowly climbs onto the bed going on top of Shawna and smiles. Shawna lifts her hands up to Tessa’s waist and pushes her into a sitting position on top of her.  Shawna grabs at the bottom hem of Tessa’s shirt in an impatient fasten and an over acted annoyed sound to let her know she was unhappy with the shirt still being there. Tessa grabbed her shirt and pulled it off slowly making Shawna want more.

After a feverish minuet of cloths being discarded and the soft glow of candles flickering in the background. Both the girls in there underwear. Looking into each others eyes. Lust, love, passion. Clouding any coherent thoughts from either girl. Shawna gave a shy smirk to the girl she loved most and pulled her in for a long sweet kiss. Tessa pulled away after a few heavenly moments and kissed her cheek and slowly moved down brunette’s jawline and down her neck.

She new Shawna’s weaknesses and she heard her moan low and soft when Tessa hit a certain spot. Shawna was in pure bliss, she couldn’t believe how Tessa could make her collapse in her arms with just a small kiss in the right place.

Tessa slowly moved down her body. Exploring every crevice and surface she offered. She moved her hand under Shawna’s back and unhooked her bra in one swift movement. She eagerly took the pink laced bra off and threw it away and gazed and her girlfriend’s beauty. Shawna blushed slightly and turned her head to the side. Not wanting to make eye contact. Tessa still couldn’t believe how shy she could be. “babe.” she said in a loving voice “you are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen”. She went back up to Shawna’s face and kissed her hard as if to prove how much she cared for the cute brunet. Shawna smiled, she knows how much Tessa cares for her. she put her  hand flat in the middle of Tessa’s chest and pushed her back with a playful smile and sat up. in a blink of an eye Shawna was on top of the read head and had pinned her down on the bed. Tessa was dumbfounded at the sudden spunk of her lover. But she liked it. Shawna leaned in and kissed her hard. Tessa couldn’t help but let out a small moan at the shear intensity of the kiss.

Shawna’s kiss was sweet, yet it felt dangerous as if she could never pull away from her, to never do anything but kiss the brunette for as long as she lived. And she was okay with that.

Shawna unhooked Tessa’s bra and took it off slowly. Tessa is rarely in this position, receiving not giving. She felt odd, as if it was her first time again. Nervous excitement filled her as Shawna began to kiss her collarbone. Shawna’s hand slid down Tessa’s stomach slowly as if to set every nerve on fire.

Blue frosting pt 3 Bridget had turned the radio to a popular pop station. “god no” Liz said as the music appeared to stab her ears. “haha I only did it for your face” Bridget said. Liz gave her a side glare and the green eyed girl changed the station wile still giggling to herself. “this is what I talking about!” Liz said as one of her favorite songs came on. “you and your punk rock music”the long haired blond said with a jovial attitude in her voice. “this is the first time I've herd you com-plane” Liz said as she gave her passenger a quick look before her eyes went back to the road. The rest of the ride was more or less quiet, other than Liz occasionally blurting out in song accompanying one of her favorite bands. They pulled up at the house roughly 40min after they had panned. “damn, were late.” Bridget said as she grabbed her purse from the floor of the old pickup Liz had acquired . “chill, we aren't late.., were just making a fashionable entrance.” Liz said with a smirk. “hurry up, were just wasting time now” shutting the door of the truck as she walked toward the door. “she can be real bossy sometimes” Liz thought to herself as she grabbed the backpack she used as a bag and headed into the party. “where the hell have you been Elizabeth?!” Matt said as he grabbed the brunette's shoulders. “sorry.... there was traffic n stufff.........” Liz said as she avoided eye contact like the plague. “I'm going to ignore that lye and move on.” Matt said as he took on a whisper. “are you okay Liz?? On the phone yesterday you sounded out of breath and... well kinda...scared” Liz's cheeks flushed a bright pink. “nono really I'm fine. I.. I was taking a nap.. and the phone startled me.. that's all.” “okay good. I was a little worried. You know I'm here for you right. After all, I am your gbf *wink*” { gbf* gay best friend} “yeah I know you nerd” Liz said with a smile as she nudged her friend in the side. “okay so let me tell ya what the game plan is for this party..” 3hrs, 2 hot dogs and way too much small talk later, ”Liz! Liz!” an out of breath Bridget said as she made her way to Liz. “ there you are. I've been trying to get your attention for the past 10 min” Bridget said as she put her hand on Liz's sholders. Liz didn't breath for a couple seconds, as she felt the blonds touch. “uh sorry!” Bridget said with her cheeks showing a bright red, as Liz's were too. “there's no resin to be sorry.. its normal for friends to touch.. right?” Liz thought to herself wile her mind worked on something to say to lessen the awkwardness in the air. “HEY LETS GET SOME CAKE” Liz said,.. well.. more like yelled at Bridget who nodded her head . The girls walked over to the large half eaten cake that had once said “congrats grads” but now said something like “con   t   ra s” the cake itself was vanilla with white and royal Blue Frosting. They sat down on a small couch near the outscerts of the party. The house was big, perfect for a party. “i wonder why no one was sitting here?” Liz said to no one in particular. “probably cuz the bathroom is almost directly behind us.”Bridget said, pointing to the bathroom with her fork before talking a large bite of her cake. The tension between them was palpable. Liz thought she would go crazy “am I supposed to pretend that nothing happened last night?” she thought to herself. Bridget had all but finished her rather large piece of cake. “god I love cake” she said as she savored the last big bites, in doing so she got some frosting on the corner of her mouth. This was the end to Liz who found herself staring at that bit of frosting. “are you going to eat that?” Bridget said as she pointed to the almost untouched slice on Liz's plate. “huh this? Oh you can have it” Liz said she she started to pass the plate over. “CRAP sorry!” Liz said as she grabbed her napkin to clean up the cake from bridges lap. “its fine. Its fine, calm down” the long haired girl said as she flopped the cake pack on to the plate. “let me help you clean up a least” Liz said with an apologetic voice. “yeah okay” Bridget said as she made her way to the bathroom with Liz following close behind her. “its all over my jeans” Bridget said as she whipped at it futilely with a tissue. “here, ill do it, if you do it that way you'll just generate it will never come out. Here, hop on the counter so I can see your leg without headbutting you”. Bridget hopped on to the counter, Bridget was now a couple inches taller than her broun eyed friend. They made eye contact for what seamed like a long time before Liz grabbed a hand full of tissues and ran them under water. “okay, this might be cold” Liz said with a stern expression. “shut up, you make it sound like some kind of operation. Just do it” Bridget said with a smile. “okay okay. don't say I didn't warn you!” after the cake was 98% out of the girls jeans Liz announced she was done in a loud British accent. “thanks Liz.” Bridget said as she looked into the eyes of her weird friend. “Hey Bridget..” Liz said as she stood close to Bridget. “yeah?” Bridget gasped before Liz's lips crashed agents hers. She let out a muffled “wwh” before she gave into the kiss and closed her eyes. Liz had no idea what came over her. But she didn't mind one bit. The need for air finally caught up with them and Liz puled away gasping for air. She looked down at her shoes, felling mortified for what she had just done. “I.. I'm  sorry.” Liz said holding back tears. “hey Liz..” Bridget said, calmly. Liz lifted her head to look at the beautiful girl in front of her on the counter.                                                               “why did you stop?”

Blue frosting pt 2

neither girl got much sleep that night. Liz spent the night staring at the ceiling and replaying that wonderful moment over and over in her head. “did i make a mistake? Why the hell did i do that?! That was so stupid. I ruined our friendship. She probably hates me now.” “but.. she seemed into it. She definitely kissed me back, could she possibly like me back?? no, don’t be an idiot Liz.” she stayed up till 5:26am until she passed out.

Bridget on the other hand spent the night with a big smile on her face. “is this real?? did that just happen???!” she fell blissfully into a deep sleep sometime past 3:00am.

Liz awoke to Bridget shaking her solder to jostle the girl awake. “mmmmmmektegbku whaaat” liz said, coming out of her groggy state. “haha morning sleepy head, its past 12.00pm” Bridget said smiling down at the messy haired brunette. “okay okay i’m up.” as Liz said this she looked around “hey wheres your family?” “oh, mom is out all day running errands and my dad is at work” “ what about jimmy?” jimmy is bridges 11 year old brother, tall for his age, with a mop of blond hair on his head and freckles covering his face “jimmy is in his room. We have to watch him till we leave for the party” Bridget said as she turned and walked into the kitchen “want some coffee?” “yeah sure” Liz said as she stood up and ran her fingers through her hair. Suddenly the memories of last night flooded her head and she fell back down onto the couch. “are you okay??!” Bridget said with worry in her voice as she walked over to Liz. “oh.. no i’m fine. Just got a little dizzy” Liz said, her face was pink from blushing at the memories. “okay..” Bridget said, going back to making their coffee.

After drinking there coffee and eating a small breakfast (or rather lunch) Liz took a shower to get ready for the party. Bridget sat on her bed, scrolling through tumblr on her phone waiting for Liz to be done. Bridget was thinking to herself now, clearly for the first time that day “why did i kiss her?” Bridget had convinced herself that she is the one who kissed Liz when in fact it was the other way around “that was wrong of me. Just because i like her doesn't mean she likes me back…. i don’t even remember why i did it. It just kinda happened. No wonder Liz wanted to sleep on the couch last night. She was probably weirded out, well i’m sure she was” Bridget threw her phone down on the other side of her bed in anger and frustration. “hey what was that??” Liz said as she stood in the doorway. Bridget looked up to see Liz in a towel fresh out of the shower with water still dripping off her hair. “are you okay? Whats wrong?” Liz said as she walked over to Bridget. “its nothing don’t worry” she said as she avoided eye-contact with Liz. “I’m going to go get ready, so should you. Or we i’ll be late” Bridget said coldly as she grabbed the cloths she had laid out and walked straight into the bathroom to change. Liz sat on the bed with her mouth slightly open. “she hates me….” Liz said under her breath as tears filled her eyes. “i knew it. Why Elizabeth… why the hell did you kiss her. You fucked everything up.” she got up and closed the door to get dressed. Tears occasionally rolled down her cheek but Liz payed no attention to this, she got dressed and dried her hair in her towel. She heard a knock on the door “come in” she said expecting to see Bridget. “hey Liz” Liz looked round not recognizing the voice “oh hey jimmy whats up” Bridget's brother jimmy was leaning in the door frame eating out of a bag of chips wile still being in his pajamas. “nothin much. What time are you guys leaving?” “in about 20min.. why?” Liz said lifting her eyebrow at the 11 year old who was now quite obviously looking at Liz's chest. “just wondering” said the boy not breaking eye contact with her chest. “okay jimmy. Shouldn't you be playing video games or something?” Bridget said to her brother. Jimmy  turned around to see his big sister with her arms crossed staring him down. “yeah… sure…..” he said trying to act cool as he walked back into his room at a slightly fast pace. “sorry about that” Bridget said as she walked into her room and shut the door behind her. “no need to apologies for him haha” Liz said trying herself not to stare at Bridget. Bridget was wearing a star wars tee shirt and black skinny jeans. “wow you look great” “come on Liz no need to joke. Its just a party there is no reason to dress up” “i wasn't joking.. i think you look good..” Liz said as she turned away to grab her hairbrush out of her back pack. Bridget blushed and looked at Liz, Liz was wearing a black tank top with a flannel shirt and jean shorts. “well…. you look good too..” the green eyed girl said. Liz turned to look at Bridget and they made eye-contact for a few seconds not saying a word. “well this is awkward.” jimmy said standing in the doorway again. “JIMMY!!” Bridget yelled as she ran twords her brother as he laughed and ran back into his room and locked his door so she couldn't get in. “Liz was laughing hysterically as the 2 of them argued. “Jimmy what have i told you about spying! If my door is shut you do NOT open it without knocking!!!” jimmy turned on his radio and started to blast his music so he couldn't hear his sister. “oh just forget it. Ill get you later you little shit..” Bridget said as she walked back to her room where Liz was trying to stop laughing. “i’m sorry” the brown haired girl said as she sat down on her bed next to Liz. “haha no problem. You have to admit that was funny thought” “haha yeah i guess” Bridget said as a smile crept back on her face. “you almost ready?”.

blue frosting part 1/?

Freeha looked up at her sealing fan as it spun round and round. She was laying down on her bed with her feet where her head should be. Her mind in a far off place as she thought about countless seemingly useless things.

Her phone buzzed and lit up, she sat up with a loud grunt at the unwanted effort. She grabbed the phone and her face lit up as she read the text.

Angela; “hey, whats up? :)“

Freeha could feel her heart skip a beat as she read the text and almost simultaneously replayed.

Freeha ; “Hey! Nothing really, just laying in bed :P”

she hit send and waited with batted breath for her response.

*BUZZZ*

her phone sounded like a demonic bee, but she couldn’t care less. She grabbed it and read it as fast as she could.

Angela; “yeah I know how ya feel. I just got out of the shower so brb. got to get dressed.”

Freeha; “k”

she set her phone down and blushed as the image of a dripping wet Angela came to mind. She sighed and lye back down on her bed.

*BUZZZ*

her phone went off, snapping Freeha out of her day dream.

Angela; “ I’m back! Hey are you going to the party tomorrow??”

Freeha; “well yeah I am! Why?”

Angela; “well do you want to car pool? We could even have a sleepover tonight and go together tomorrow?”

Freeha thought her heart was about to explode with excitement. She couldn’t reply fast enough

Freeha; “yeah!!!! that sounds awesome! When should I come over??”

Angela; “how about an hr?”

Freeha; “k! See you then.”

The black haired girl got up and started to pack for the night ahead of her. She picked out the sweat shirt that Angela always complimented her in without fail. She put it on over her black sports bra and she slipped on a pair of boxers under her pajama shorts.

Freeha knocked on the door, Angela came to the door and took a deep breath before opening it. Freeha smiled awkwardly and waved but Angela immediately wrapped her arms around Freeha with such gusto she almost chocked her over. “Hi!” Angela said, her arms still around freeha’s’s neck. “Haha Hi” Freeha said with a smile on her face as the smell of Angelas’s shampoo filled her nose. “its so good to see you!” Freeha said as she slowly pulled back from the girl and picked her bag back up. Smiling as she swung her backpack over her shoulder once again. “shall we go in?” “yeah sure” Angela said as she opened the door wider to let the tall girl enter. “you can set your stuff in my room” Freeha responded with a nod and a smile.

Putting her bag on the floor next to Angela’s desk, Freeha looked around her room. “you redecorated” She said, continuing to look around. “yeah, it was time for a change.”

her room was a soothing cream color. She had posters and pictures hanging from every wall, one of the periodic table and another of the human anatomy. There was a wide window on the far wall that had a window seat under it with a few decorative pillow’s sitting on top. Her bed was a queen size with sateen sheets. it was covered in papers and a few odd books here and there. “s-sorry for the mess” the long haired blond said as she scrambled to clear the papers off her bed. “no no! Haha you should see my room.” Angela let out a little laugh as she finished stuffing the last of her papers into her backpack.

“i cant believe your graduating already.” Freeha said as she took a bite of pizza. “ I know right? It feels like just yesterday I was a sophomore welcoming a little freshmen” as she said this Angela nugged Freeha with her elbow and grabbed a slice of pizza.

Freeha took a bite of pizza and looked at the beautiful girl in front of her. Angela was scrolling through her phone and chewing a rather large bite of pizza. Freeha had had a crush on Angela for almost 2 years now. She was short in stature with wavy golden blond hair that went down to her lower back. But the most breath taking thing about the girl were her eyes. Beautiful crystal blue orbs with tints of copper and deep deep blue. They almost looked like a picture from the Hubble space craft. looking into her eyes, you were trance-ported into another dimension. As if there were no troubles on earth. She could look into those eyes forever.

Freeha, snapping out of her trance, but unfortunately not enough, noticed that Angela had a little pizza sauce on the corner of her mouth. Freeha, without thinking, stretched out her hand and gently wiped the sauce fro her face. Angela looked at Freeha as she did this, her breath hitched as the girls finger gently caressed her face as she wiped her mouth clean.

“Uh um-mm so the party tomorrow!” Angela said as she turned her face away to hide the fact that she was blushing. “yeah?” Freeha said as she tried to calm her fast beating heart ‘dumbass why did you do that??!’ Fareeha thought as she scolded herself.

“i was thinking we could leave around 1:30? after all i cant be late to my own class graduation party.” as she said this she looked back up to meet freega’s’s dangerously deep eyes. “yeah that’s true.” Freeha blinked slowly as she held the girls long gaze. “sounds good to me” with a smile she set her plate on the night stand.

“okay, truth or dare?” Freeha said with a mischievous look in her eyes. “truth!” Angela said, meeting the girls gaze with one of determination. “ hmm” the brown eyed girl thought for a second then replayed with a smirk. “okay but you have to tell the truth, okay?” “fine, what?” Angela said with a hint of fear in her voice. “have you ever had a crush on a girl?” Angela was not prepared for a question like that at all. Of course she couldn’t tell the truth, that yes she has had a crush on a girl. And she still does have one, On Freeha.

“well yeah….. I mean who hasn’t right?” Angela was looking down at her twittling thumbs to try to hide how imberised she was. “yeah I have too I guess” Freeha said changing the spotlight onto her. Angela ’s head shot up in shock and hope at hearing that from the Carmel skinned girl across from her. “so.. its your turn, truth or dare?” “dare!” Freeha said, ready to take whatever the blond dished out to her. “okay…..um … oh! Stand on the bed on your tip toes and say ‘oh what a pretty ballerina Am I’ three times without laughing!” Angela was already in a fit of giggles at the mere idea of The strong, proud Freeha doing such a thing. “okay haha i’ll do it” Freeha stood up onto the bed and looked down at the giggling girl under her and took a deep breath. “ready?” Freeha said as she smiled. “yup. Whenever you are.”

Freeha took another deep breath and shook her head, she stood up on her tip toes and said “OH WHAT A PRITTY BALARINA AM I…….OH WHAT A PRITTY BALARINA AM I!” Angela had completely lost herself. She had fallen on her back laughing so hard she could barely breath. Freeha lost her composer too at the sight of her friend go hysterical. On top of that Angela was laughing so hard she was shaking the bed. Freeha lost her balance and fell on top of Angela who almost immediately stopped laughing. Angela was lying on her back, propped up on her elbows behind her. Freeha had fallen onto Angela so that her knee was right above the girls crotch. Her arms were braced on either side of Angela’s’s head. Her eyes meet the blue eyed girls. The both of them inches apart. Silence filled the room as both girls searched each-others eyes.

Freeha looked deep into Angelas wonderful eyes and saw fear, trust and.. lust?.

She closed her eyes and leaned in to Angela’s. Their lips made long awaited contact as Angela closed her eyes. ‘Her lips are so worm’ Angela thought to herself. Freeha moved closer to Angela to deepen the kiss. As she did, Angela let out a small moan into Freeha’s mouth. She lifted her hand and in-tangled her fingers into Freeha’s silky black hair as she kissed her back passionately.

*RIIINNNGGG RIIINNNGGG* *RIIINNNGGG RIIINNNGGG*

Freeha’s phone rang loudly. She snapped back into reality and pulled away from the kiss and answered her phone slightly out of breath. “yes. Hello who is this?” She said in an impatient voice. “oh hi. Yeah ill be there. Around 1:45 yeah you too. And hey don’t call so late, its like midnight. Yeah, bye” Freeha brought the phone down from her ear and hit the ‘end call’ button. By now Angela had sat up on her bed and adjusted her cloths to look normal again. She was blushing a bright pink. She felt so awkward knowing what they had just done. “wh… who was that?” clearing her throat after she spoke. “hmm? oh.. it was just Lena confirming what time I’ll be there tomorrow.” Freeha set her phone down on the bed and turned to face Angela. “...Angela I-” “Hey don’t you think its getting kinda late?” Angela said cutting off Freeha mid-sentence. “...yeah I guess…” Freeha said caching the drift that Angela didn’t want to talk about what just happened between them. “lets get some sleep okay?” “yeah okay……umm Angela? Is it okay if I sleep on the couch tonight? I think that would be better for my back… ya know.” Freeha didn’t want to make her feel any more uncomfortable that she already was. “yeah that’s fine. Do you know where the spare pillows and stuff are?” “yeah I know. ...goodnight.” Freeha turned and grabbed her backpack. “good night Freeha ”.Freeha walked out of her room and down the stairs of the silent house and plopped her bag on the couch and sat down holding her head in her hands ‘what have I done’.
