Levi keeps them all on the wall in the kitchen, anytime he is feeling down or sad, he looks at that wall to remember how far he has come, how much he is loved, how you gave him his children, and a reason to move on. Eventually when his hair is gray and he is older. He would look at that same wall again, this time hanging up a drawing his grandchildren did for him.

It took him a long time to realize that he was in love with you. He fell for you deeply the first time he saw you. It was just that he had never been in love, he couldn't recognize what made you so different than others and why he made a difference between you and everyone else. One day when you're out on a horse ride with him, Levi catches himself looking at you. You keep talking, unaware of his loving gaze. That was when it hit him, it was like the grass was greener, the air felt cleaner, the skies were brighter, all because you were beside him.

Levi has a weakness about your legs. He isn't sure why he is drawn to them, anytime you wear something short he has to try and control himself not to stare at your legs for too long. Loving Levi is suffering in silence. His love isn't him pining over you, giving you gifts, trying to win you over. It's silent, yet so loud. It's him always making you tea whenever he makes himself one, it's him always making sure that your gear is functioning properly, it's him always telling you to be careful before a mission but it's never him to tell you the words that lay in his heart. He will never tell but you'll know it. That's the part that hurts the worst because it's duty before love.

Levi is insecure, he will never admit it. When he started to develop a crush on you, he thought of himself as stupid and delusional. Why would you like him? What is there to like? Until he noticed your eyes one day, the way you looked at him like he put the stars up in the sky. It was then that Levi understood that he isn't as unloveable as he thought he was.

He doesn't sleep a lot and used to sleep on a chair before you two got together. His favorite place to sleep now is your lap, Levi would lay his head on your thigh and enjoy the feeling of your fingers running through his hair as he falls asleep. When you two sleep in bed, Levi would watch you sleep for hours, touching your hair gently, and kissing your head before he would fall asleep. It's your warmth and presence that allow him the luxury of comfortable sleep. The only time he sleeps for eight hours is when you are beside him.

Levi is protective of you as it is but when you get pregnant, he gets twice as protective. You aren't allowed to lift a finger, anytime you go out in public Levi makes sure that his hand is placed at your lower back, his eyes always watching your surrounding for any sign of danger. When he first feels the baby kick, his heart fills with pride and joy, which makes it so much more real to him. Even if sometimes he gets too protective, you know that all he has in interest is yours and the baby's safety. Levi wants to be the best man he can for you and the best father he can for your child.

After the war, Levi was a shell of a man. He had lost everything to save humanity, lost all his friends, all he cared about, he truly believed that he was cursed. One day while out on the market to buy himself groceries he met you and a shiver ran up his spine, a weird tingling sensation filled his stomach when your eyes met his. You smiled kindly at him and his breath caught up in his throat. He never felt like this. But you were young and joyful, why would someone like you settle for an old crippled man with a cane and battle scars. Instead of returning your smile or saying something, he turned around and walked away. Maybe it would've worked out if he talked to you that day but he is cursed, his heart wouldn't handle another person important to him leaving. You are his biggest 'what if?'

Levi enjoyed watching you melt for him. He doesn't think that there is a better view than you ruined on the white sheets. Body shaking, legs wobbling, covered in marks head to toe. If he was a painter, he would make himself a portrait of you like that and hang it up in his bedroom so that he can always look at you. Pride hits Levi when he looks at you, he did all of that, he made you feel good, he made you scream his name and he will do it again.

He hates going out on missions beyond the walls. Levi likes to keep a close eye on you, he can't and won't risk something happening to you. After the mission is done and you're safe and sound, he hugs you tightly. That's all that he can do, the only amount of emotion he can show you. Just a captain and his squad member.

He didn't know how to read, with the tough childhood he had, he never had the opportunity for proper education. Levi can read okay, it isn't perfect but he understands enough. To help him you started to leave random notes with words around his office and room, Levi complained about it and you thought that it was annoying, so you stopped doing it. Until one day when you were looking for a file and you found that he had kept each note in his drawer. Behind you left a simple note that Levi was now able to read. 'Thank you for thinking of me, captain' Instead of putting this one in his drawer, he put it in the inside pocket of his jacket, right over his heart.
