Hello there! Mod here! This blog is a roleplay/ask blog for Nastya Rasputina from The Mechanisms. My main blog is @randompajamaalt, and I have a few other Mechanisms RP blogs if you have any interest.

hello hi. hi. Mod here.

so its the final week of school. and its crunch time. so i am so sorry for not responding to asks or reblogs much because i am in so much chaos trying to get stuff done right now i cant spare more than an hour of time to check my tumblr stuff every one-three hours of work time. so yeah ya boi is goin wild.

pleasepleaseplease just dont be sad if it seems like im ignoring you i promise im not im just having several breakdowns about schoolwork and essays and posters and so much more ooughhh i hate school so much. but its almost over wooo!!

[ Nastya feels her blood, thickly inhuman as it flows through her veins. ]

[ She takes another step, the deafening ringing and clanging of her surroundings she would usually take comfort in now overwhelming her completely and making the world around her spin and blur. ]

[ The blue light leaking from every crack in the machinery blinds her and makes her vision scream. It feels like she’s wading through oil, and before she knows what’s going on, she’s drowning in it. ]

[ She slams her hand against the nearest door’s control panel and stumbles out into another room, the oil draining out beneath her. She coughs up a rainbow-sheen ink mixed with splatters of silver, and she realizes she’s on some kind of a rafter. ]

[ This room shouldn’t be here. She’s been tracking every step she takes and even through the fog taking over her mind she knows this room is all the way on the other side of the Aurora. ]

[ She takes a shuddering breath and tries to stabilize herself, but nothing here is correct. It’s all wrong and strange and suddenly she’s spewing more oil and silver onto the ground infront of her. ]

[ Nastya slinks to lean her back against the railing and a singular metallic tear falls down her cheek. ]

[ She opens her eyes to find herself in the main engine room, where she had fallen asleep. She simply shakes her head. Just a dream. ]

[ She begins humming to herself, a song stuck in her head that got picked up by Aurora’s radio as they passed by a bustling system of planets and stars. ]

[ She doesn’t notice Brian, listening from the doorway silently, not wanting to interrupt the moment of peace- something he rarely finds around Nastya. ]

[ So, deep in her thoughts, Nastya continues to hum the stray song she will never learn the name of with one sole audience member, never alerting her of his presence. ]

[ Until a few days later, when he compliments her singing voice. Her face goes a silvery color, and she ignores the drumbot. ]

Ooh! Ooh! Actually, yes! Right now I’m working on a few chemical experiments, but the most interesting one actually includes Nastya- she finally let me take a blood sample from her to study its chemical compounds. And then of course the other one.

I may have locked Jonny in a room full of octokittens and kept a camera in there to see what happens. So far he’s- oh. I just checked the camera and, uh- he’s buried. Completely. I’m gonna go check on him-
