maybe i didnt love it.

the more time i spend thinking stewing in my thoughts about the tadc finale the more upset i become by it.

i tried to write out my feelings about it a few weeks ago but it was VERY LONG and got VERY ANGRY very quickly so i never posted it.

i realize i havent reeeeally said really anything about my actual thoughts on the finale (and like ik dont have to bc literally who cares lol) and just yk been reblogging fanart and whatever but yeah. my opinions are all over the place at the moment.

its really hard for me to come to terms with the fact that maybe i dont like the episode as much as i initially thought.

ive been thinking about it A LOT since i seen it and just being idk kinda salty about it if i'm being completely honest? like weirdly just upset and empty. like still even a month later havent fully left it.

i dunno.

that is not to say i havent been drawing the fuck out of that rabbit lmao

Abstract Concepts by @h0neyhands. I actually found this one a couple chapters before it finished. I really loved the in-depth adventure and the ending was unexpected but gripping

Devil Town by @gummigoodeathpose. Another one I found while it was still going on. Love the horror spin with these characters, and the suspense and adventures were so well done. Mild smut but easily skippable.

Too Many Pomnis! by @mythunits. Really sweet. One of the few fluff fics I've read (a real pallet cleanser after the other two).

Saw the newest merch ad with Jax and everybody's reaction to it, and it reminded me of this video (animation for one of Aphmau's videos). I thought of an animation idea using the audio at the beginning of the video. I want to animate but I can't cause suck at animating.

as an aside from the daisy bell post, something that occurred to me is that the daisy bell sequence is the high point of jax and pomnis relationship, and probably the happiest moment of his life in the circus, at least since the talk with ribbit.

it's really no wonder that it's the song she's playing on the piano in the break room when you think about it like that

I mean, Pomni is most of us here, right? Jax’s abstraction was sudden, we saw what she did, and she is determined to try and help him the best she can…

But she’s also very likely also grieving.

We all know transfem Jax is the intended reading of his character now, but are we still allowed to hold other interpretations that maybe we've had for a long time? (genderfluid Jax, GNC cis Jax, etc...)

It's just sad to see so many people being attacked and harassed out of the fandom right now even while they acknowledge and fully respect Jax being trans just because they have a different interpretation of him

Ok, I’ve been going back and forth about putting up my thoughts about the ending of the show because I didn’t want to get any flack or blow back.

But as you read this just take into account these are my own personal feelings about the ending. It doesn’t mean that anyone is right or wrong. If you loved the ending Im happy for you. I truly am. But I just didn’t.

I feel like there was a lot of more of the characters left to explore and it kinda fell short for me personally.

For a show that cast aside the mystery of the circus with the Escape adventure, (which by the way I looooooved the twist and fuckery with the fandom on that.) and dipping fully into emotional side of the characters instead, it just didn’t feel like they all got the attention I wanted them to have.

And I get it. It’s a me issue. I’ll get over it. lol

I might post more on my thoughts about it if anyone is interested.

Now I’m going back to melting in a heatwave and the post show sads. 🫠

What are you thoughts on TADC episode 9?

So I was spoiled when it was leaked and I saw it in theatres, so I had a while to think about it.

I think it doesn't need to be said that I was disappointed when Jax abstracted, though I kind of had a feeling that was going to happen. Of course, I love the idea of redemption arcs, so it was even harder when Jax didn't get to be better or face proper consequences, but I see where Goose was going with that. Jax was trapped at possibly the worst point in his life while "Lee" is improving out in the real world. It was definitely the bad ending for Jax that he caused him/herself.

It does feel like there's some loose ends that weren't fully explained, and you might have to delve in deeper to figure out some things. I think Goose also likes to leave stuff open to interpretation.

I did really like the whole sequence with Caine. I know a lot of people thought his whole redemption arc seemed rushed, and yes I can see that, it does feel a bit abrupt after everything. Even so, I loved the whole bit of Caine making his way to access the internet while it also flipped into the past showing how Caine found the human brain scans and got them to work.

Overall, I do feel the show could have benefitted with more episodes to flesh out ideas and characters, but I still enjoyed it. ^^ I do love the idea of Caine joining the cast in the end and working with them to make the circus better. Admittedly, it was very sad to see the credits of them all having fun except for Jax. That's why I'm doing my own AU though, lol.

I know I said in my first HumanFunnybunny post that I would share my TADC human designs after drawing/designing all of them, but since the show is over I decided I'm just going to post/share the designs I have done already (In the future I might redrew them, maybe with some different outfits). Obviously these designs are different from canon, so inspired by the Aftershow AU, any fiction/stories or drawings I make with these designs will have episodes 1 through 6 in mind only (7 through 9 excluded, though I might incorporate small things here and there from those episodes. Example(s): Jax being homeless or Ragatha being a real estate agent). When I decide on their backstories in my AU, I'll make a separate post for that in the future. Anyway, may I introduce you to Annabelle Sinclair!
