So, back in episode 286′s 2nd part, the cover art on the Jump issue that Gintoki is reading seems familiar. It may seem like a One Piece reference if one were to look at the hat, but there’s something else that looks similar to this. Methinks it’s Shokugeki no Soma’s Vol. 3 cover. Not yet sure if this is really the case though, but if it is, then yay for Shokugeki references in GIntama! On another note, I have this random thought that Etsuya Eizan is actually Gintoki spying on the competition.

Funny how most of Prison School’s cast were also involved in Gintama. More funnier when you realize that both Meiko and Souko are sadists, while Andre and Ayao are masochists. Meanwhile, the chairman and Zenzo have different tastes in ladies. Also, turns out that Takehito already experienced the prison life (which became wackier because of Zura Katsura, Shachi, et al.).

Still hoping for Kana Hanazawa to show up in Gintama though.
