anyway where's my icemav song fic based on Peter where Ice and Mav are toghter but then Mav says he has to grow to be able to be in a real relationship with Ice so Ice waits, waits and then waits some more for Pete but than the waiting never actually ends. And, at some point, Ice moves on and moves away from Mav.

And they end up being nothing more than more than an old photo haning in every hall of a navy building.

In a different timeline, one where Mav talks to Ice and then they talk to Bradley, he packs his stuff at three in the afternoon and leaves for college on a random morning in the middle of August, not a week before high-school graduation and in the middle of the night.

This time around, when he leaves Mav and Ice help him loading the Bronco, hug him a little longer than he would be comfortable admitting and the promise to see each other over Christmas break.

And just when Bradley is waving to them, now waiting on their porch, he can swear that behind his dads, he's able to see the shape of a haawaian shirt and a summer dress and, for a second, he can hear his mom and dad laughing like in one of his first memories. They are all there, all four of them, making sure he is safe under their watchful eyes.
