Liverpool managing to pull it back after conceding the penalty in the first 2 minutes is insane, thought the match was over. Stengel was amazing and hopefully Kiernan is alright (especially with van de sanden out)

What a match!! So happy for England! Leah Williamson getting to be captain for England Womens first major tournament win just makes me so happy.

Can’t lie, didn’t think they were going to pull it off after Germany scored as they started looking much more threatening. It showed that England haven’t had much major final experience as they seemed very nervous at times. Chloe Kelly managed to bring it back with possibly one of the messiest goals of the tournament though. Also Keira Walsh’s assist for the first goal was unreal.

Germany played amazing though, a very close game that could of gone either way. They look like a very strong team going forward.

I hope this excitement for womens football stays around even after this tournament. In England you can’t escape talk of the euros which is amazing.

When Fara Williams predicted 4-0 at the start I thought she was being way too confident, but fair play to her.

What a performance from England, the game against Spain must of given them a lot of confidence as they looked so much better tonight and for Alessia Russo to even have the guts to try to shoot that goal shows how comfortable this team is right now. I did feel bad for Lindahl though, I’m sure she’ll never want to speak of this match again.

Confident going into the final but both France and Germany are very frightening teams at the moment, but both have also shown clear weaknesses in the knockout stages of this tournament (but tbf so have England).
