But how can you not?  Like almost every aspect in the society is concerned by what purpose you'll serve to them, and how they'll use you.  Unless you use them.  But what if you're just an "average"--but again, having to use the term "average" is again just another sense in comparison.  Okay so what if you're just "average" and you have no plans of using other people?  In the end they'll just use you.  It's use or be used.

And it feels good to be of use.  It gives you a sense of worth.  That you are needed.  That you will be missed.  That you'd make them cry when you're gone.

Thing is, I am starting to understand myself.  I believe I have already understood myself to a significant extent.  Just that, I find it impossible to not compare.  It's incorporated in our nature.  Adaptation.  We compare to adapt.  We compare to not be left out.  We're social creatures.  It is in our nature to seek adoration and distinction.  And this distiction is the distinction one receives due to being exemplary in something.

And the challenge here is, how could you not compare when we are molded to strive to be the best?  

I would like to believe that I am not alone in this plight.
