Theres a cake baking contest in my neighbourhood at the end of this month and part of me really wants to participate because i do have some EXCELLENT fancy chocolate cake recipes i could use, but then on the other hand today i made super easy scones from a box, for the first time after a long period of not baking anything, and i managed to kinda screw them up despite the fact that the recipe consisted of like, 3 simple steps..... so perhaps not
