Tricia raised an eyebrow. She was not ready for whatever was going to happen, neither did she know what was going to happen. Sometimes she worried about Raphael’s sanity, or lack of it. He was cabaple kill himself for one of his creations.
“Are you sure you don’t wanna test this on Marco first? I mean… It seems dangerous.”
She stepped back as he said, worried and biting her lip nervously.
“Don’t worry, it’s not dangerous when I run it”, Raphael said, taking last minute preparations. “It’s only dangerous when I try to get through. Well, you’ll see”.
Raphael turned to Marco, who has the concentration of an eagle about to devour its prey, and nodded. The bronze automaton got the message and he started to pull a lever, “We are now 30% on the power......50.........80%”
Raphael pressed the big yellow button in front of him. There was a vacuum happening in the middle of the spires and Raphael’s hair at the back of his neck rose. A “gate” was forming in between and was continuously expanding, powered by energy that has the capability to destroy the whole camp. He looked at the Iris message and saw that there was also a gate forming in front of Tricia. A door, partially open, in the fabric of space and time.
The crazy Mexican turned his gaze towards the gate and looked through. He saw one of his closest friends in it, and she did not look happy.
