it’s so isolating having chronic pain and realizing that not everyone else has a baseline pain they feel every single day like what do you mean. wdym.

#went to the doctor once and was basically told as long as i work and do the things i enjoy i will feel pain so #thanks so much for robbing me of hope #i have a full time job and i rarely talk about my issues but when i sprinkle in the fact that yes my shoulder blade is numb from overuse rn #and also my neck hurts if i look to the left at you but yeah im good i’m fine #i see the glimpse of normalcy other people have where they aren’t in some form of pain or another all the time #like how do i explain it hurts to sit down. or stand. or lay on my side. for too long.#personal #if i hear ‘but you’re only 22’ one more time i will quit my job and move to antarctica
