Why don't they sing anymore?
Somehow, we've identified objective morality. There is a particle in every atom we've observed that vibrates almost imperceptibly faster or slower when exposed to words or concepts such as love and charity or hate and murder. These "Morals", as we've dubbed them, are detected on a specialized radio receiver that we have created to measure the morality of people and ideas. We believe we can mass-produce these "Morality Probes" to streamline law enforcement and population control. Our biggest question regarding this program is not about whether we should. We know that this is an entirely good prerogative. Our question is how this even exists, as physics simply does not work like this. And yet, it does.

Gnosticism is essentially Dualism in a theistic lens. It is the belief that there are two, not one God. The spiritual and metaphysical belong to God, as we know it, and are inherently good. The physical and material, however, are under the purview of the Demiurge, an inherently evil cosmic being that entraps the spiritual into the physical. Death is the release of the spirit from its worldly prison.
