I want it to be known, that I have seen my post go around twice now re-blogged, with a reply by crazyintheeast. A reply I could not initially see until I saw the re-blog on a tumblr page that DIDN’T block me. crazyintheeast not only re-blogged my post with criticism, but blocked me afterwards, as if to show that they had won in their fight. They haven’t. THERE ARE A LOT OF SPOILERS SO SPOILER WARNING AHEAD.

Sabrina even went a step further and outright assaulted the boys with the Weird Sisters to protect her friend..IT’S NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM WRITTEN OFF"
The assault on Susie inspired WICCA, a group that is supposed to protect Women and Susie. Protect their rights. Yet in the SECOND EPISODE. Susie calls out the four golden boys of Baxter High for ripping down the posters for WICCA, what do they do? PROMOTE VIOLENCE AGAINST NON-BINARIES by showing that, its okay to not only sexually assault them, but to punch them in the face. Then what happens after? Susie is suspended, showing their concerns and reasoning doesn't matter. When Sabrina mentions the police, why doesn't she file the report? Why doesn't she turn this into an assault case? A HATE CRIME CASE? No instead what she does is call upon the Weird Sisters who "teach" the four Golden Boys of Baxter High a "lesson" in the mines. The lesson is what, exactly? Forcing the golden boys into making out with each other, blackmailing them with photos because "homosexuality is wrong." that is what the show is telling you, by trying to shame the boys about making out with each other, cause boys kissing boys is a no no, right? IT IS THE MESSAGE THE SHOW IS PORTRAYING. They didn't solve the issue with the police, they solved it with blackmailing the Football Players with pictures of them making out with each other. THAT ISN'T ASSAULT crazyintheeast, that is shaming homosexuality and is homophobic in nature. Prime example of them writing off Susie's issues? Sabrina lets Susie know that she has a feeling the Four Golden Boys won't be causing anymore trouble. Does Susie, the person being abused, who was assaulted physically and sexually, ask why? No, they go off and dance. IT'S OKAY NOW CAUSE I SAID SO, SAYS SABRINA.
In Episode Three of the show they do not ask or mention anything about the Football players who were bothering Susie, or how Susie is about the entire ordeal, it just gets outright ignored because,it's okay now cause I said so, according to Sabrina.
"Susie doesn’t wear a dress to make everyone happy. Susie wore a dress because they have been under the psychological ATTACK OF A DEMON. A demon who was clearly presented as evil and wrong and a liar on every level and yeah Susie is naturally traumatized from this and wearing a dress was shown to be a clear result of this trauma"
Nope, Susie overhearing their father talk about the abuse their Uncle went through for being themselves, being gay, wearing dresses, something that Susie can identify with, hearing all that isn't more traumatic than hearing a demon call them sick. No no, Susie arguing with their father that their Uncle doesn't need to be sent to a mental ward for being gay and cross dressing, and their father responds with "He needs help we can't give him." as if to say there is something inherently wrong with non-binary, gay, or trans people isn't traumatic, the "demon" is more traumatic. I'd like to bet that their Gay Uncle, who was called crazy and insane and treated like he was mentally ill, being HORRIFICALLY KILLED wasn't more traumatic, than a demon. NO that couldn't be it at all.
Susie was wearing a dress because they were bullied and abused sexually and physically at school by Football Players, had a Father at home who was narrow minded and looked at his Gay brother as being mentally ill, and they decided that it was better to be the gender they were assigned, instead of who they really are. What message are you sending then, to young Trans and Non-binary people? What representation do they have? Poor representation in a show with poor writers who have to remind you, that being gay is wrong, and that being trans and non-binary is a mental illness in a show about witchcraft, with HEAVY CHRISTIAN UNDERTONES. WHICH AGAIN, SUSIE'S ISSUES ARE WRITTEN AWAY IN THE NEXT EPISODE. LIKE. NOTHING. HAPPENED. UNRESOLVED, AND LEFT SUSIE TO DEAL WITH THEIR ISSUES ALONE. Lets also just remember that Susie’s friends call Susie the WRONG PRONOUNS THE ENTIRE SHOW. This is evident by how Susie glows when being called a handsome young man, or a boy IN GENERAL.
"Also Susie’s whole story line culminates in Susie accepting who they are as a person thanks to Dorothea and growing stronger and more confident then ever"
Did we watch the same show? Last I checked all the stuff going on with Dorothea was bullshit that Wardwell was feeding not only Susie, but Roz to drive Sabrina and her friends apart? Like who are you? It backfired of course because Wardwell is a fucking idiot. Not to mention Susie doesn't at all acknowledge who they are, by making any kind of declaration. It's implied acceptance. IMPLIED ACCEPTANCE is worse than actual CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. No one mentions the dress, no one mentions the Football Players, not A SOUL MENTIONS THEIR UNCLE, or homophobic, trans phobic FATHER, yet Susie is stronger and more confident than ever? DID WE WATCH THE SAME SHOW? HOW IS STANDING UP TO A GHOST CONFIDENCE OF PERSON? CONFIDENCE OF SELF? ACCEPTANCE OF SELF?
“Seriously it’s one thing to legitimately criticize a show for it’s portrayal and it’s a whole other to pull clear bullshit out of your ass and outright lie just because you didn’t like a story line. Get a grip“
This crazyintheeast, is the biggest issue I have with you. I did legitimately criticize a show for its portrayal, Yet because you didn’t see the issues, or acknowledge that they even existed before trying to call me out, you in turn called me a liar. Said I pulled shit out of my ass cause I “didn’t like a storyline.” No no, it goes deeper than that, considering you blocked me after reposting my blog post, trying to make it near impossible for me to know, or reply. This is you trying to demonize me, when I have clear concerns. I have a voice, and I won’t let it be silenced.
