Lowlands, canals go underwater and look like a sea. The rainy season is very important for the agriculture, cultivation depends on rain. The farmers without rain cannot plow their fields. Rain is necessary for growing paddy, jute and varieties of vegetables. However, the poor people suffer much when its rain incessantly. Their homes become damp and wet, git damaged due to heavy and continuous rain. They cannot go for works even. Often, the country experience the flood which washes away acres after acres. Many people then become homeless and helpless. People living in hilly areas face land slides, flash floods too. Lives, cattle and crops are also get destroyed. Even after all those odds, the importance of the rainy season is quite high from the agriculture perspectives, the country economy depends on it.
