Yeah. They brought on five top Smash players from Japan as QA testers - three Smash 4 players, a Melee player and a former Brawl player, and their names are even in the credits (Seen below - the Melee player and the Smash 4 players’ names are highlighted, while the Brawl player’s name is obscured by a wireframe icosahedron thing)

Shortly after release, there was a tweet quoting something from a developer about a CPU level beyond 9 named 9B after one of those top players, Yuya “9B” Araki. At least, that’s what I gleaned from the translation I saw.

London’s Metropolitan Police believes that its artificial intelligence software will be up to the task of detecting images of child abuse in the next “two to three years.” But, in its current state, the system can’t tell the difference between a photo of a desert and a photo of a naked body.
