feelin' a little awful about the inactivity, but! felt like it's only fair to update what i've been up to:
3 book clubs and overwhelmed myself but i'm deeply enjoying them and once i'm freed from the 2 shorter book clubs, i'll do some doodles of my favorite scenes in them :) [The Odyssey and Howl's Moving Castle. i know, they're so alike. <- /s bahaha]
locked in for a surprise commission! it's been about 5 years since someone asked to commission me, so i'm really happy to be working on that
studying for the July 2026 N2 JLPT exam- i'm giving it an earnest try
helping out my local town with a festival they're holding (this weekend! so i'll have a little more free time after)
my full-time job (gag)
the wips i have of shallan are haunting me. and the even further shadow of having wanted to draw a scene from pandora hearts a day,,,,,,,, that's on hold probably until i get the stormlight art out of my system. i am still interested in doing the panels. i promise.

i think people get so used to their own creative work that they forget how amazing it is so i’m making this post as a reminder You are the only person capable of making art the exact way you make it. nobody else on earth can do that. there are always going to be those little habits and intricacies and details that simply cannot be replicated whether it’s in writing or painting or textiles and you make life all the better for it i love my friends’ art i love art from strangers im trying to love my own art I LOVE YOU!!! THE PERSON READING THIS!!!!!!! YOU ARE A PART OF THIS WORLD NEVER EVER STOP MAKING THINGS THAT CAN IMPACT IT
