Actually, I feel very strongly about this. Many of the people utilizing ambulances may not actually be critically sick, but don’t have a ride to the emergency room. By calling 911, these stable patients might be taking away an ambulance from someone who actually is critical and in need of the ambulance and the EMS. Having Uber as an alternative for an ambulance is actually genius if used correctly. Ambulances save time and resources for the truly emergent situations and patients save money by not unneccessarily using an ambulance as a transportation system. But like, also don’t call an Uber if you’ve been shot you might freak out a driver
