Awan,former 2nd matriarch of humanity and reincarnated crusader for Michael’s army.

Facts:

Awan is 15 and ages normally until it stops in her adulthood. Michael used the Eden daughters’ grooms to make a sub army to fight sin beasts in other worlds. However, Michael fucked up Awan’s process and Michael had to deal with taking care and training a one year old Awan.

Awan is amazigh like Luluwa.

She doesn’t know how to interact with other kids until Cereza since she’s only been around angels

Like Cereza and her brothers in arms,She doesn’t remember anything from her first life.

I know I said I’d only do sketches, but my beloved @ratatatbug2 wanted Marigami, and since they’re my favorite MLB characters, I couldn’t resist making something a little more ""finished"". It’s still not super rendered though cause I have zero stamina lol.

Here’s my third free commission : Lila/Cerise, aka the most enigmatic character in the Miraculous lore. (Yeah here it is not a sketch even if the colors are pretty flats I had more time to draw 🫪)

I really love how obsessed she is with Marinette : it gives her this looming, unsettling sense of danger that’s getting closer and closer.

Hopefully they won’t drag this storyline out for too long, though, or we’ll end up with another Gabriel situation. Lila clearly has the potential to be an even better villain than he ever was! (I still love you Gabe, the writing did you dirty 😭)

I adore Adrien but I'm so sick of shit like this 😭It feels like this fanbase spends way too much time advocating against the show's ""misandry"" against the male characters while pushing misogynistic takes about its female lead.

Like I remember when s5 finale came out and people were mad (obviously) and saying that if the genders were reversed, people would've never accepted the female lead being excluded from the climax with only the male lead being present, yadda yadda. But then they enjoyed ML awakening's resolution of the plot. And I'm like "Buddy....you know that ML Awakening made Marinette irrelevant in the climax of the movie right? 😬 Her moment of tackling Chat Noir from Hawk Moth does nothing except stall the finale for 20 secs (literally, I counted). " Marinette wasn't allowed to be relevant or do anything of impact in the climax despite being the literal MC, and its made only about the 2 male characters yet no one cares 😭Movie!Adrien was also done dirty but that's a separate rant.

You don't have to love the show's version but at least Adrien not being present in s5's finale has actual implications for the plot and the characters! He's uncomfortable about the fact that everyone is celebrating his father being a hero in s6! We get to take our time slowly unveiling the truth to him as opposed to squishing it all in a 2-parter finale.

tl;dr - There is no grand conspiracy about the writers hating their male characters and advocating for some toxic version of feminism. The female characters are more important because its a dang magical girl show, and the genre's DNA typically requires female characters to be more prominent or have more agency. A character being a deuteragonist rather than co-protagonist isn't sexism, they are just built like that.

What makes the whole discourse much more uncomfortable, is that often times, people say Adrien is “female coded” because he’s “more sensitive” and “well behaved”.

Which, that doesn’t take rocket science to figure out how problematic this is…

I was asked to draw Nathalie, and I wanted to explore her relationship with her "father" in these sketches before we learn too much about him and I inevitably end up disappointed lol.

Did my own reimagining of grim tales. These three are still the main characters but few changes:

-Jr is a girl now. She gets some powers(poison) from her mother.

-Minnie is adopted. She’s not Nergal Jr’s kid anymore and her powers come from someone else. She doesn’t know who Mandy is and Grim just told her he found her abandoned. She’s also a lesbian.

-Mimi is now Him’s biological granddaughter (you can guess who her dad is). She still has her psychic demon powers and her backstory is still the same. Jeff is still her nanny(before and after she was taken). Blossom isn’t her mom but still an important factor in her life

So I was trying to make a new design for Man of genesis(my Hazbin inspired series) Lucifer and I used Hazbin Lucifer as a base. It was fun and I may do this with Abel before doing it in my style.

Things with Lucifer:

-He,along with Samael and Michael, are black coded. I had this idea that seraphims would have darker complexions due to them being closest to God/ the eyes who is light. Meanwhile other angel species are paler/white

-Lucifer’s main colors are purple,white,gold and black. His wing rims(?) were always black back in Heaven (so were Samael’s and Michael’s)

-the snake is a reference to Medusa,his headless gorgon creation. She’s basically his Bubble.

The writers treat the show as a controlled microcosm for real world situations. In this case, Chloe represents a corrupt politician and Noe represents billionaire donors who fund the politician’s corrupt campaigns because it benefits their financial interests.

The billionaires let the politicians think they’re the ones in charge because they’re the ones signing their names off on the documents. The reality is that money is the great manipulator and everything the politician does is serving the billionaire.

Another example is this idea of evil becoming a trend. Once a corrupt politician is elected to a higher office and repeatedly breaks ethical codes and laws without consequence from their peers, that sends a signal to certain sections of the populace that they’re also allowed to act freely without consequence.

With a corrupt leader in place who can shield them from punishment, those who want to do evil become emboldened to do so, causing chaos and warping the reality of what it means to have a fair, responsible government. It also normalizes evil in society, numbing even good people to the worst actions committed by others.

Noe’s plan is similar: once enough people follow in Chloe’s footsteps, evil will become normalized, and the stage will be set for him, Audrey, and presumably the Kingdom to benefit from it.
