MEMORY RAMBLE

Okay so basically in february I was at a birthday party with two of my closes friends (e1, e2), and you see we were the oldest there, and it was a sledding party so we went sledding and I kid you not AS WE GO DOWN THE HILL A 5 YEAR OLD JUNPS ON US, LEADING US TO CRASH INTO A ANOTHER SLED AND GOD KNOWS WHERE THAT ONE WENT?? AND AS WE DOWN DOWN THE HILL EVEN MORE I TURN AROUND CHECKING IF THE KID IS OKAY AND I YELLED “ARE YOU OKAY” AND HE GAVE A THUMBS UP?? HOW ARE 5 YEAR OLDS SO STRONG LIKE DUDE WE JUST CRASHED INTO YOU AND I WINTEESS YOU GO DOWN ANOTHER HILL, ANYWHO WERE STILL FIGHTING THIS OTHER 5 YEAR OLD THAT JUMPED ONTO OUR SLED THEN ME AND E2 FALL OFF OF THE SLED AND E1 CRASHES

listen, LISTEN. if you fuck up a piece of art and start hating it, USE IT TO EXPERIMENT. break out the markers you never use and the watercolors that have been sitting in your drawer forever and the paint you were scared of using. mix the colors on top of each other and see what comes out. block in big areas in neon pink. scribble over it with a pen. mix mediums together and make unconventional choices. take a picture of it first if you gotta but TRY NEW THINGS!! you fucked it up anyways!! now the only possible outcomes are either:

a piece you hate, but you already hated it so it doesnt really make a difference

a piece you LOVE and a new method you want to implement in your future artworks

theres literally no downside!! only potential upsides!!
