i often use filters but they don't truly make me happy because it's covering up what I'm insecure about. sometimes I hate my nose in pictures because it's wide and my eyebrows when they're not arched and my skin when it breaks out but I swear to god I'm learning to love myself no matter what and it's hard as hell but it's well worth the journey. society wants us to be perfect but I'm not and I won't apologize for that. when I see models with the perfect skin and facial features, I'm often taken aback by it but I then realize most, sometimes is not natural and that those women may not be happy (definitely not judging other women's decisions tho) and I get this sense of relief but also sadness knowing that women feel the need to change for society's standards. "Now you, go love yourself." - me 💕💕

TRANSPARENCY POST!! Often I sacrifice my comfortability and health even to please society. Having a battle with ED, this photo sorta makes me cringe thinking about not sucking my stomach rolls in but I'm learning to be authentic to myself and the world then I wouldn't feel like that in the first place. This journey of self love is hard as hell, a lot of tears, sacrifice, and rawness. I wouldn't want it any other way tho. At a point in my life, I just got tired of making myself throw up and having to deal with the feelings of guilt and major regret afterwards. So cheers to loving myself and striving to fit my OWN mold? Society, eff your bs standards. I will love my extra stomach rolls from now on. I won't let you influence the way I love myself and even if I do slip up, I'm gonna remember that my sanity and mental health is more important than trying to fit the mold. Please, love yourself guys and girls - it's hard to do but atleast it's easier than self hate. Self hate takes so much out of you....
