PSA FOR VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS
So, I've now been a veggie for 3 years, and in my first year, I was NOT well.
See, when you become a veggie, everyone will tell you to take iron supplements. This is good. You need this so you don't become anemic.
What nobody will tell you is that you also need Vitamin B12. This is not found in any meat substitute. What does it do? IT MAKES YOU NOT WANT TO KILL YOURSELF.
B12 IS WHAT HELPS FIGHT AGAINST NATURAL DEPRESSION AND IT GIVES US ENERGY.
The problem with this is that if you do a blood test, iron supplements will hide a B12 deficiency.
My family has a history with depression so I thought I was mentally ill again. Noooooooo, Veggie bitches need B12 tablets to give us the energy to move and a general good mood.
So, take your iron, take your B12 and also add some Vitamin D3 in there. That's the sunshine vitamin and it helps you metabolise the other helpful shit.
