Raven hadn’t originally planned to attend the feast, but a few friends she’d made were going, so she’d decided to make the effort. “Well, I don’t know how I feel about floating candles, but I’m willing to give them a shot.” She smiled, greeting Tommy with a nod. “Hey, listen. Don’t tell him, because I want it to be a surprise, but I finally managed to find that last part Poe needed for his hovercraft. I’ve even put a bow on it. I guess miracles really do happen this time of year, huh?”

Bellamy stared back at her, every inch of him hoping he hadn’t made a serious mistake in coming to her. Her initial silence made him nervous, and naturally, he braced himself for the worst, muscles tightening. Raven didn’t seem like someone to scare easy, but it’d be pretty simple for her to call for back up and turn him in for questioning loyalties. Luckily, she did none of that.

He visibly relaxed, knowing she wasn’t going to out him; but her words had delivered a whole new set of questions. Feeling helpless, Bell shook his head a little. He never did well with questions of morality, he'd always been a man of action. “.. How?”

“You finally found a question that I don’t know the answer to.” So this was it. Confirmation that Raven wasn't alone, that she could confide in someone else about how she truly felt. Even if Bellamy betrayed her, although she highly doubted now that he would even consider it, she realised she'd had enough anyway. Innocent people were being harmed under her watch, as a result of her actions, and none of it was justifiable. Finn would be disappointed in her, and the resulting guilt shattered her heart.

"... But I'm willing to figure it out, if you are." There was still a hesitance there, Raven's tone hushed. But if she were to trust a single person in this place, it would be Bellamy. He'd shown more care and consideration than any of the other guards combined, and he'd made it clear he valued Octavia's wellbeing above all else. "This why you wanted that radio?"
