Lindsey Morgan and Bob Morley at Vancouver WhiteCaps Charity Match (Sept. 17, 2017)
finnnodair:
Finnick snorted at that immediately, not at all surprised by her words, but still mocking disbelief. âIâm sorry, darling, itâs just that you said you donât blame the innocent, yet youâre here, working for Coin? Donât you worry, the irony is not lost on me.â He turned his head to watch what she was doing. âUnlike your boss, honesty is my policy. â Itâs not me. Itâs not any of us, actually. Can you let us go now?â
âTwo sides to every story, hot shot. Maybe youâre not so innocent in mine.â Emphasis on the maybe, because Raven wasnât sure what she believed in anymore. He probably had a point -- it was ironic.Â
âAnd Iâm being honest when I say that sounds like bullshit. Might not be you, but it could be one of your chums. Weâll see.â Raven raised her eyebrows, challenging him, because she had to. But then she nodded. âGo. Stop wasting my time.â
bellmayblake:
Bellamy stared back at her, every inch of him hoping he hadnât made a mistake in coming to her. Her silence made him nervous, and naturally, he braced himself for the worst, muscles tightening. Raven didnât seem like someone to scare easy, but itâd be pretty simple for her to call for back up, and turn him in for questioning loyalties. Luckily, she did none of that.
He visibly relaxed, knowing she wasnât going to out him;Â but her words had delivered a whole new set of questions. Feeling helpless, Bell shook his head a little. â.. How?â
âYou finally found something I donât know the answer to.â So this was it. This was her opening up, spilling about how she felt. Even if Bellamy betrayed her, although she highly doubted he would, she realised sheâd had enough. She couldnât stand back any longer, and allow potentially innocent people to get hurt under her watch. Finn would be disappointed in her, and that broke her heart.Â
âIâm willing to try something if you are.â She needed his help. She had no idea what to do, how to save them. Not if it was just the two of them. ââThis why you wanted that radio?â

âYou with me?â - âAlways.â

Raven responded promptly, something which could have been read as loyalty if Emily didnât know better. The woman avoided any specifics, never revealing much information about herself in the process, and though Emily didnât believe she was a threat, at least, not yet; she was clearly keeping something quiet. In an ironic away, Raven reminded her of herself.
Nodding hesitantly, Emily continued to keep up appearances. Once again, Raven had failed to reveal anything. âRight.â Perhaps sheâd have to try a different approach. âI.. I guess I just never realised Iâd be getting my hands this dirty. I took this job to help people, you know?â Staring at the floor, expression relaying clear distress for a moment, Emily pretend to shake it off, giving the woman a small smile. âIâd better go get those coffees.â
Raven nodded in understanding. Perhaps sheâd always known that to get the one thing she wanted most, someone somewhere would have to pay for it. She just didnât realise sheâd be seeing the results first hand. That sheâd have to allow people to be tortured in front of her eyes. She may not be hurting them directly, but that was causing her hands to get dirty enough. âMe too,â she agreed, trying to avoid being too open.Â
âThanks. See you soon.â
bellmayblake:
âYouâre smart. Can I ask you something?â
Raven simply looked at him for a moment, assessing his expression. He was serious. He meant it. Maybe that meant someone felt the same way she did.
â--- Try to change it.â
I feel better than I sound.
TOP 40 ALL TIME SHIPS (as voted by my followers) :#37. Bellamy and Raven. âWe need you. You may be a huge pain in the as, but youâre smart.â
bellmayblake:
Bellamy shrugged, looking more fed up on Ravenâs behalf. âIâd say youâre betting money on the right horse. More than happy to scour through CCTV, give you someone to glare at, if you want.â
At the damage description, he nodded once, thinking for a moment. âSounds fixable. Also sounds like someone used it to beat something half to death. How else do you break an antenna like that?â
âMight be a good idea. Catch them out, so they donât think about doing it again. Usually the guilty ones strike more than once.â Not that Raven would punish them, but a dirty look or two wasnât an opportunity to pass up.Â
âIt is if youâre as good as me; âcould have been prevented, though.â Raven sighed, wondering why someone would destroy a radio. âWho knows. Must have really meant it to do that much damage.â

finnnodair:
âSeems nobody is,â he replied offside, knowing they hadnât been fed in at least two days. âSounds exciting.â Finnâs smirk only widened. âBut no, not that it matters. Apparently itâs the norm around here to place blame on the innocent.â
Knowing what it was like to go without food, Raven ignored his comment, instead choosing to focus on the camera. âI donât blame the innocent. If itâs not you, Iâll move on and ask someone else. Itâs the potential lying that causes problems.â
