Anna Marie:
Anna leaned into her adoptive mother. She had to be careful but she remembered that Mystique had been willing to hug her before.
She didn’t know how to feel. She was the one who decided to fight Captain Marvel for her mother. The fragment felt like it was something that destroyed Anna’s life, luckily Charles Xavier could remove it.
Not all fragments that were placed in Anna had disappeared. She still had the Mastermind fragment which made her more emotional when she got caught up in her self pity.
She wasn’t a fan of what Mystique had done, she would question her adoptive mother’s love at times. It was as if Anna was there for her mutation and how it would help her moms, not to find a family.
She couldn’t think of what to say to Raven. Her thoughts were swirling and she couldn’t settle on just one.
“Do ya think ah was always meant ta be a fighter?”
“I always knew you had greatness in you. But I was naïve to think I could throw you into my world and you’d come out unscathed. You aren’t meant to be anyone but yourself Anna.” No matter what she was there for her daughter. Noticing she was leaning in seeking comfort Raven immediately wraps her arms around rouge and hugs tightly. Caution be damned she needed to hold her baby girl.
“Is this what you wanted Anna...do you still want to do this? Because you don’t have to be a hero. You don’t have to keep risking your life...” So many mistakes...and the greatest one was not holding her tighter and keeping her longer.
“I’m sorry I keep lying to you. I ...do things to protect you. You must know that.”
