that's what this blog is- it exists for the mementos system, @luxuriainash, to reblog and post about source stuff- that is, spiritual fictive past lives. you can find out more on our main, but we aim to start reblogging it all here, too.
- you're free to reblog any original posts unless reblogs are turned off, obviously, and submissions you think may raise an eyebrow or spark a realization in us (so: anything you associate with our sources' canon counterparts or just us based on our reblogs) are welcome too. you're also allowed to just ask us about our memory stuff or current system stuff. and tagging this blog in reblogs of fanart etc is great too - it's actually easier to find things when you do that.
- the blog runs half on a queue, half on randomly reblogging - it really depends on how much we can find from quote blogs, fanartists, and so on. the more there is, the more likely it is to get thrown into a multi-day shuffled queue.
- the tagging system is a little haphazard, as it serves to reference particular places and memories and associations while being somewhat easy to discern.
...somewhat.
a minor example of this tagging system is below the cut, but otherwise, feel free to keep scrolling the blog:
a post tagged with "#daybroken" refers mostly to data worlds in light of KHUX events, though general UX works its way in as well. this being followed with the tag "#treasure in the sky" would be a reference to a line from the song NASA Is On Your Side, due to said song being about children experiencing the end of their world and describing that final sunrise, that final light as "treasure in the sky".
meanwhile, a post tagged with "#age of myths" refers to dark road era scala and what took place there, and a followup "#in snow's fall" indicates it's about our particular experiences with baldr's rampage. further tags may add more context- for example, in this case, a followup of "#half light" and "#heaven's shooting star" suggests the post is about the dynamic between baldr and xeha at this time, or is something one would be saying to the other.
a tags list and potential explanation rambling document might end up being made soon, because it's a Lot easier for everyone. including some of us.
it's worth noting that not all tags are particularly referencing events in KH, as other sources and worlds play a part in our experiences as well.
we may also refrain from tagging original quote/aesthetic posts with the original source media they're from, because of a sort of paranoia. having this blog is already scary, honestly. if you see something we've posted and it has no tag indicating its source media (so a straight up mention of the media, for example, a xenoblade quote would be tagged as "#xeno" and "#xenoblade" and the number of the game, ie "#xc3") then feel free to ask about it!
This was... supposed to be just one sketch of many for practice and sorting out appearances re: source and stuff, but I spent an hour messing with it and now our iPad's gone from 82% battery to 7%. Uh.... oops?
