that's what this blog is- it exists for the mementos system, @luxuriainash, to reblog and post about source stuff- that is, spiritual fictive past lives. you can find out more on our main, but we aim to start reblogging it all here, too.

- you're free to reblog any original posts unless reblogs are turned off, obviously, and submissions you think may raise an eyebrow or spark a realization in us (so: anything you associate with our sources' canon counterparts or just us based on our reblogs) are welcome too. you're also allowed to just ask us about our memory stuff or current system stuff. and tagging this blog in reblogs of fanart etc is great too - it's actually easier to find things when you do that.

- the blog runs half on a queue, half on randomly reblogging - it really depends on how much we can find from quote blogs, fanartists, and so on. the more there is, the more likely it is to get thrown into a multi-day shuffled queue.

- the tagging system is a little haphazard, as it serves to reference particular places and memories and associations while being somewhat easy to discern.

a minor example of this tagging system is below the cut, but otherwise, feel free to keep scrolling the blog:

a post tagged with "#daybroken" refers mostly to data worlds in light of KHUX events, though general UX works its way in as well. this being followed with the tag "#treasure in the sky" would be a reference to a line from the song NASA Is On Your Side, due to said song being about children experiencing the end of their world and describing that final sunrise, that final light as "treasure in the sky".

meanwhile, a post tagged with "#age of myths" refers to dark road era scala and what took place there, and a followup "#in snow's fall" indicates it's about our particular experiences with baldr's rampage. further tags may add more context- for example, in this case, a followup of "#half light" and "#heaven's shooting star" suggests the post is about the dynamic between baldr and xeha at this time, or is something one would be saying to the other.

a tags list and potential explanation rambling document might end up being made soon, because it's a Lot easier for everyone. including some of us.

it's worth noting that not all tags are particularly referencing events in KH, as other sources and worlds play a part in our experiences as well.

we may also refrain from tagging original quote/aesthetic posts with the original source media they're from, because of a sort of paranoia. having this blog is already scary, honestly. if you see something we've posted and it has no tag indicating its source media (so a straight up mention of the media, for example, a xenoblade quote would be tagged as "#xeno" and "#xenoblade" and the number of the game, ie "#xc3") then feel free to ask about it!

Initializing

Strange blog name. It’s a terrible pun, kidnapping words from two unfortunate languages.

The word piezein in Greek, means to squeeze or press. This is the root of the term piezoelectric effect, where piezoelectric materials accumulate electric charges in response to the application of mechanical stress, a.k.a my personal obsession in physics as of the moment (2020). The url of piezelin is a spin on this word and also the Filipino word pisilin, which means the same, to squeeze, to press. 

I’m starting this blog to help understand and collect my thoughts better. The crackle of what I perceive to be brain activity or perhaps mental stimulation is a bit overwhelming at times. This blog will serve to squeeze those little sparks out.

So, a little summary about what this blog will entail:

1. Personal anecdotes (i.e. about studying, school, politics, relationships)

2. Maths and/or Physics thirst (I’m not kidding, I could wax poetic about new lessons for hours)

3. Occasional films, books, and series (e.g. Star Trek, Nick Joaquin)

4. Short stories or ideas

Please send me a message if you would like to have a certain thing tagged. I do not reblog posts tagged with homophobia, transphobia, rape, violence, sex, suicide, and nudity. 

I post and will reblog posts about sexism, misogyny, fascism, and racism. 

I will try to tag sarcastic posts as I also have difficulty with discerning sarcasm, despite being quite fond of it. They will be tagged as #sarcasm. 

I do not use English exclusively. I code switch between Filipino, Hokkien, and Vulkhansu. I will also tag accordingly. 

I will attempt to add captions, should I post any images.

Clarifications:

1. I am a Filipino undergraduate student, currently studying Physics. Let us assume that I am a minor.

2. As of July 2020, I have not received a formal diagnosis of autism from a licensed physician, however, I choose to identify myself as such and I do not think I need to justify why. For this reason I appreciate the use of plain language. 

3. I identify as being on the asexual spectrum. She/her pronouns please!

4. I am religious.

When I Was a Kid: Vacation Pt. 2

The weather was quite cold on the island. We needed to start a fire. My father sent me to go search for some dry branches, leaves and sticks as he attempted to spark a flame. My mother laid down her foldable chair and watched my father at work. I decided to travel a little further away from the trees as the moisture kept the leaves too wet. Before I left, I quickly grabbed a machete, just in case anything happened. I used it mainly for cutting branches off anyway.

While scavenging through the drier side of the forest, I notice a red and yellow piece of metal covered mainly by dirt and mud. I began brushing the dirt off when I suddenly realized, this was not any metal, it was Iron Man’s armour. My heart began to pound. No way. I dug up the rest of the dirt off and pulled the face of the armour off. A pulse of blue electronic light traveled through the inside of the armour as if it was a wave. I put the mask on in hopes it still worked. Suddenly, the letters “SYSTEM REBOOTED” flickered and the mask turned on. I knew from the newspapers that the technology Mr. Stark named it was Jarvis.
