This is technically a side blog because the main one is a Shadouge blog but I use this one the most. I basically post whatever I feel like. Sometimes Iāll yap about my fanfics and whatnot. I mainly repost art and fun stuff I like. My username came from Rayla from TDP and Zuko from ATLA. I donāt watch TDP anymore and forget where I stopped, LOL. Still love ATLA.
My name is Riah and Iām an 02 baby. Putting my age will just get outdated. I have autism, ADHD, and GAD, and I can be very inconsistent with posting anywhere. Sometimes I go through hyperactive periods and sometimes intense burnout. Iām in college, English major, soc minor, and currently kind of between a junior and senior. When Iām home I live with family but I have my own space so to speak. Iām also asexual and agender and use they/them pronouns. I guess Iām panromantic? Iām open to trying to date again in the future irl but right now I need to focus on other stuff and also I wouldnāt wanna online date or be long distance so please do not try to hit on me or ask me out, LOL.

I donāt post p0rn but I might repost slightly NSWF art or art with gore or something, not like excessive. Also a lot of my own writing deals with heavy topics like violence and trauma. I also cuss a lot.
-I have strong opinions. I will share them.
-I try to stay out of politics for my own sanity. I have my opinions and believe in human rights. Iām queer and neurodivergent myself and am affected by it. But I had to delete insta and facebook because it made me too anxious. I have family to keep me updated on news stuff. But if youāre one of those people who goes like āif you donāt talk about X issue youāre a bad person!!ā Then this blog isnāt for you.
-that said if I find something particularly pertinent, I WILL post about it. Like when I told people to vote for Harris and right wing jerks who would never follow my blog to begin with got mad at me. But yeah if itās like an important election Iāll tell people to vote against fascists, yeah.
-I think ship discourse is stupid. P3do and inc3st ships give me the ick but Iām not gonna harass people over fiction. I also think censorship on a site like Ao3 is more trouble than itās worth (like sure Iād LIKE really gross p3dophilic stuff to get banned but also in order to do that youād have to have a staff of hundreds of people reading through everything to moderate and it would be impossible, or youād have to have AI moderation which will falsely flag things). Also historically censorship just doesnāt work and is usually bad. I hate the terms pro and anti ship because their coloquial meanings are different than their purely linguistic ones. I sort of see shipping as a form of endorsement (I get the appeal of toxic relationship ships but to me itās like if you wanna show a messed up relationship and say itās bad idk if Iād call that shipping). I think itās weird to make fics endorsing super problematic behavior. I get people have fantasies tho of stuff they wouldnāt do irl. So Iāll leave them to it. But I will usually just block/mute if I see a ship I donāt like. I also might do it for certain other kinks Iām just not into or super lewd stuff. Please donāt take it personally, if I just donāt wanna see your stuff on my feed Iāll mute.
-all that said I also think dark stuff should be in fiction and I write it too. I just donāt endorse the stuff. So like if I have racism in a fic, I write the racism as a bad thing but it exists in that world. Like itās realistic but also showing itās bad. I hope Iām making sense. I see some people get pearl clutching and be like āyou shouldnāt talk about xyz at allā. As long as youāre not being super disrespectful or glorifying a bad topic then I think itās fine/good.
-I donāt like generative AI for creative works, I also know itās bad for the environment but I wonāt get to that here. Also ChatGPT is not your therapist. And openAI donated to Trump soā¦yeah. I will block you if you promote AI slop and I donāt wanna have debates about this. I know Iām a hypocrite cuz I listen to kpop and play NTE, but I donāt endorse the AI useage in that. (But also Iām talking like full AI slop like AI images on art tags, not a game with a few AI assets even though I donāt endorse that either)
-I separate art from artist in the sense many music artists are problematic and I will listen to their stuff unless they cross a personal line for me. Or if they endorse the bad stuff in their music itself. But I wouldnāt put certain stuff on a tshirt you know. I also think there are cases where it really doesnāt work like JKR. Sheās just too enmeshed in her art and specifically takes endorsement of her art as endorsement of her. Thatās very different from someone getting .033 cents from a stream on Spotify.
-I have demand avoidance and if you demand me to care about a cause it will make me more detached. Like itās one thing to inform someone about an issue and a completely different thing to jump to demands and accusations. Like I said this blog isnāt for reposting every issue I see.
-I use save states and rewind when I play video games that have it available. I do not care. The āgit gudā crowd are ableist, full stop. Also sometimes people wanna experience certain older games without flying into a rage. Archaic design is archaic. Also Majoraās Mask gives me severe anxiety and I wonāt elaborate.
-I know I mentioned shipping earlier. I consider Diluc and Kaeya foster siblings. I consider Shadow and Maria sibling-like. Iāll mute/block any art of them romantically.
-also, I donāt really care if a character is 500 and dating a 25 year old. If theyāre both physically and mentally adults, idc. We could have debates about age/maturity gaps if such a thing was possible irl but it isnāt.
-I said this in the intro but I use they/them pronouns and prefer neutral honorifics when they are available. If neutral ones donāt exist use masculine ones. Please do not misgender me on purpose if you do that on purpose Iāll block you right away.
-Iāll also block you if youāre bigoted in any way. Or try to convert me to a religion/belief.
-if you hate on me inherently for liking gacha games/genshin, if you get tribalistic about your favorite games and attack me for liking them, I donāt want any part in that drama. Blocked. Respectful criticism is totally valid. In fact we should consume critically. I donāt glaze Genshin or anything else I like unreasonably so. Some criticisms are stupid and ppl looking for reasons to complain. But others are valid.
-same with any of my other interests, if you attack me for them please just fuck off.
-also if youāre ableist in any way, get out of here.
I think I have adequately filtered people out. Now Iāll move on to other stuff.
My interest/hobbies: world history, writing, reading/listening to audiobooks, listening to and talking about music, kpop, dance, video games, urban planning, sociology (esp. gender and class issues), highways (Iām weird and have highway autism rather than train autism. Trains are cool tho. I also donāt drive. Just find highway systems interesting.), cats and rabbits, cults/religious extremism (like learning about them and people escaping from them), the Cold War (weird special interest)
Shows I like: I donāt watch many shows. TADC, ATLA, and Sonic Prime is kinda it.
Movies I like: Encanto, Zootopia, Nimona, Kpop Demon Hunters, Spiderverse, GOTG, Star Wars, Thor Ragnarok, Superman 2025, everything everywhere all at once, bullet train, most Disney classics (Pixar too) and prolly more stuff Iām forgetting.
Games I play: Genshin, NTE, Just Dance, MKWorld, Sonic Crossworlds, Zelda BOTW/TOTK, Ocarina of Time Randomizer, Super Metroid (I wanna try the randomizer for this too), Sonic series, Mega Man series (so far only classic but wanna try X/Zero), Super Mario series (Galaxy 1/2, 3D World and Odyssey are my favs) and open to trying other stuff. Not an RPG guy as Scott the Woz would say. (For those saying Genshin and Zelda are rpgs, I mean turn based)
YouTube: I watch a lot of Nintendo tubers (the non grifter ones) and Genshin Tubers. I watch some Ktubers. I like Reddit stories (Oz Vault and Vincey are my go-tos for that). Otherwise I just watch/listen to what interests me.
