“Don’t go out of your way for me, especially not if you have to put on pants, that’s crazy.” They teased, pulling back to take the final drags from their cigarette, crushing it into the ashtray. “Can we go back inside, now? I’m freezing my balls off, I sorta need those.”
Raza snickered, finishing off his smoke as well and switching it in hands to snuff it out. “I’m not Sonny who walks around naked all the time, but I could if that’s what you wanted.” Nudging Micah, he grinned. “Yeah, you sort of do need those so yes, we can finally go inside and get you warmed up and fed. May need that energy later.”

“I didn’t forget one, I just had more important things to carry.” They pulled the jacket a little away from Raza, hugging him underneath it and tucking their chin over his shoulder, keeping their cigarette away from his face as they maneuvered. Sure, they couldn’t stay in this position for very long, but it was good for warming their arms up at least. Their fault for sleeping in a tank-top. “Do you think there’s any bacon to go with our omelets?”
Raza’s arms wrapped righter around Micah which wasn’t an easy task given Micah was much more built than he was but he managed. “Bacon? Uh, there might be some turkey bacon? Harley kind of wiped us out the other day on bacon making her infamous Southwest BLTS as she called them. If we don’t and you really want it I can get dressed and run down the street to the mart and get some.”

He grinned broadly, smacking Raza’s back. “Yeah, ugly as fuck, I mean… but… maybe a girl likes the whole romantic song writer thing? I need to change my major.” Josh’s eyes lit up. “All right, if Tom Cruise can do it, so can you!”
“Who knows what girls like, one day they could like that and the next they could want the five star chef. Been there, done that, glad I don’t have to go through it again.” He laughed and started towards the stage, happy that Micah was not around to see this. “You’re buying me another drink when I’m done!” He called out.

“Yeah, I do not understand that man. He sings that high, yet he still gets to date and marry Victoria’s Secret supermodels? Life is so unfair,” he grumbled with a shake of his head. “Well, I’m thinking Wanted: Dead or Alive would be appropriate.”
“He’s probably good in bed, that’s the only thing I can think of,” Raza wasn’t attracted to Levine in any way, shape or form, so he didn’t get the sex appeal aspect of him at all. “Wanted: Dead or Alive,” Raza mumbled and finished his drink off, setting it down and then smoothing down his shirt. “Alright, I got this.”

“Excuse you.” Micah laughed, prodding Raza’s side, grinning nevertheless. “That’s old person, to you.” Micah had always been one to love fast and hard, and Raza was no exception. They’d started falling from the minute they’d seen the mistletoe above the crowd, and were still falling even now. Mimicking Raza, Micah took a drag of their own cigarette, resting their head on his shoulder. “Hey, I brought you a jacket, we can’t be that crazy.”
Raza knew that the old man comment would get to him a little bit which is why he’d done it. “Old person,” he snickered and then just nuzzled against Micah’s neck. Raza tended to get crushes easily. He wasn’t the best at flirting or even being in a relationship, given his past one had fallen apart faster than it started but when he loved someone, he gave them his all. Which is what he did with Micah. “I know you did, and forgot one yourself, hence I’m keeping you close and trying to warm you up until we’re finished.”

“Shh, don’t spoil my plans to propose, huh?” Micah teased, sticking their tongue out at him and blowing a small raspberry. They let him pull them down, sliding into his lap and putting their arm around him. The admission had them raising their eyebrows, smiling and leaning in to light the cigarette they’d pulled out to replace the one they’d given him. “Oh, yeah?” Taking a drag, they looked over at him. “Well, shit, Raza… I love you too.”
Micah was childlike sometimes and Raza loved that, they knew when to be serious and when to just be carefree. Lighting his own smoke, he was wasn’t sure what to expect at the words he’d said. Part of him thought maybe Micah would freak out? He wouldn’t blame them honestly, it just slipped out without a care in the world. He let out a small sigh of relief when Micah didn’t run and in turn said it back. “You better old man,” he teased before leaning up and kissing their cheek. Raza hadn’t been this happy in a very long time, even when he thought he’d had a crush on Violet all those months ago. Pulling Micah into him some more, he finally took another drag from his cigarette and let his head fall back to look up at the sky. “Are we crazy for being out here when this weather can literally make our balls blue?”

“If I can step out of my comfort zone and sing some of this stuff, you can do a ballad. I mean, I did Staying Alive last time. Do you know how hard that is to pitch so high in your notes???” he laughed.
“Yeah, but you had to get kicked in the balls or something to hit those notes right? Unless you’re like Adam Levine, but even then I argue he gets kicked in the balls on a regular basis. Fine, I’ll do a ballad. What one?”
