Frankly, all of this doesn't make sense to me. Before the summer break, there were rumors that Daniel would be promoted to Red Bull, and Max and he even went back home together by helicopter after the race. All the media and people were talking about them being teammates again. But suddenly, there was an article about CS and Liberty Media's involvement in Red Bull's decision, and Horner announced that he would not change his driver line-up and would keep SP. Since then, rumors have begun to swirl that LL will take Daniel's seat in the middle of the season, and at this Singapore GP, everyone has bullied him as if the rumors had already become a fact. The team didn't help him a bit when he was being bullied by everyone. And as always, they messed up Daniel's car, which was strong pace in practice, just before qualifying, and his race was also ruined by a shit strategy. Of course he showed great overtakes in today's race too but oddly f1 tv never showed his overtaking. Yet Daniel still silently did his best in his place, took the fastest lap, and helped Max. But this is his last race? FUCK YOU. This is disgusting and unacceptable behavior beyond comparison to what McLaren did to Daniel.
NEW LAP RECORD AT SINGAPORE MARINA BAY (thank u @jenny-superbadgerz 💞)
gp: the medical delegate needs to have a look at you under parc ferme conditions when you get out
max: if they send the medical delegate up to the stewards maybe they can have a look, if they are okay. i’m absolutely fine!
vcarb family my ass lol daniel is getting an abnormal amount of hate because of their shit strategy but no one is defending him? absolutely fucking disgusting behavior❣️ time to get back home to the his real family (rbr)
Laurent Mekies saying Yuki's tyre management "was second to none" in this race has my blood actually boiling!!!!! As if Daniel hasn't consistently pulled off some of the most challenging and ridiculous strategies and long tyre stints and even throughout his struggles has ALWAYS had the superior tyre management.
The only reason he didn't was that in this race the team (and their shambles of a strategy) ensured he couldn't use one of his best skills to get what should have been a nailed on points finish.
No apology, no proper accountability. Fuck you VCarb.
this is so hot
fuck everyone on this team except daniel
You wondered right. I thought the same thing, honestly. You don't want to pull in the pits. You get the call and you know this isn't the thing to do, but you get the call late and there's no time to question it. Because then if you miss a lap it's even worse. But as soon as I pulled in, the cars that were on a softs had pulled in. We're on a medium so at least let's go let's use the clear air, use the pace we got, and then we come out in traffic. Then we're in a DRS train and we're all on the same tyre. That's one of the worst [calls], one of the worst ones I've had in 250 something races. A long, old frustrating race where I just had a lot of anger.
saw @rickybaby’s blake post… this is what we were thinking all weekend, right?
German speaking Max is so 🔥

"Hard fought definitely. I apologised to Pierre after the race. I was like, sorry I couldn't talk that much today. I was pretty locked in. It took a lot of concentration and effort. We were a bit more on the defence, a bit more of mirror-watching today. We were hanging on to the points. At the end, the last few laps, we had DRS to Magnussen , so we had a little bit of pace probably with the tyres getting a bit older but, for most of the stint, I didn't felt we were not a very fast car in our group. We were just hanging on by the skin of our teeth, is that what they say? The strategy, we used the two hards, pitting early to secure our position to the alpines. That was important. At the end, it took some clean laps - Gasly was quite quick on the mediums but, we got some points. A bit of damage limitation. The last three [races] have definitely been better. Leaving a Sunday feeling like we got pretty much out of it, it's always going to be areas where I can do better, but as whole we can swipe out of the paddock with a smile and feel like we ticked most boxes. It's a nice feeling to fight and drive a clean race. I think, deep down, we'll look back at our pace and say, yeah maybe we didn't belong in the points today. I feel like in some parts we overachieved and maybe give ourselves a pat on the back."
