Harry nodded slowly, forcing a weak smile in return. There was so much going on in his head, it was hard to really focus on what Remus was saying, but he was doing his best. Something about Sirius going grey — though he wasn’t sure he could ever imagine his godfather with excessively grey hair. “Mhm.” He hummed, dragging a hand through his already tousled hair.

“Old enough to learn about it, maybe, but I don’t think we should let him play with bludgers for a while yet.” He chuckled lighting, stuffing his hands in his pockets. “Are you implying I’m not already your built in babysitter?”

another warm chuckle. he pushes his hands into his pockets, eyeing harry happily. he hasn’t been this old before yet, has also never felt this young. seeing such youth in front of him- not just in reggie but in harry too, warms him from the inside. he wished he could have seen harry grow more, wished he could have been there.

"Please come with, Sirius." Remus said, eyes wide and puppy-like as he looked at the taller boy. He had a beanie on, red and gold of course, with flaps over his ears and pom-poms.

"It's a new shop, it looks marvellous. Who knows what kinds of spells we could find in some of the books, ones for new pranks for sure!" Remus said again, taking another step forwards, reaching out to grab Sirius's sleeve of his Gryffindor robe, grasping it. James utterly refuses to come with me and Peter made up some lame excuse-- Padfoot, please?"

Remus was almost bouncing with excitement. There was only one book shop in hogsmeade and it lacked a certain thrill, compared to this one which looked cozy and warm with shelves of books going far back- an upstairs too decorated with flying candles (apparantly) and cheap hot-butter beer to drink while you settle down into the worn leather chairs with a good book-- Remus was always drooling.
