Made it to LA!
The team is back in LA! We just got through customs & immigration just fine...were on the bus & our first stop is in-n-out burger!!!
Leaving for Home
Right now, it is 8:45am Saturday morning in Singapore & we are about to board our flight to head back home...The trip has been absolutely amazing & we cant wait to share with you all in person, more stories of all that God has done!
Please Pray for travel mercies & continued team health. Zoe & Ryan are still sick, Allie is feeling much better but as a whole, the team is drained. Please pray that the Lord heals & sustains us over the next 20+ hrs.

Day 12 - Debrief in Singapore
Sorry for the brevity, but we've had terrible internet & not much time to write our posts...
But our day was awesome! We spent the majority of the day debriefing from our time in Thailand. We went to a beach and reflected on all that Christ did & then asked the Lord what He know has for us back home...the Lord minsitered to all of us in profound ways & it was so so good to take the time & do debrief ourselves...
We also spent some of the day enjoying singapore & ended our trip by going to the Singapore Night Safari! (look it up online to find out what its about). It was a really fun time as a team & our time in Singapore was a perfect way to end our time in Asia!
Thank you guys so much for praying! We could not have done it without you!
Day 11 - Traveling to Singapore
We made it to Singapore! Its really late so well make the post short...Today was a day filled with mixed emotions; sad to go & say our goodbyes but excited for what the Lord did here & how hes going to use us back home...
Travel was rough today for a lot of the team. Allie is getting better but Zoe got worse as the flight went on. When we got to Singapore, there was a doctor's office in the airport so Zoe & Ryan went to see the Doc. Rizz was feeling a little ill as well, and it turns out that both of them have tonsillitis!!! They received antibiotics & are trying to get rest tonight & recover. But its been crazy how this throat infection has been ripping through our team! Please pray for the Lord to not have any more of us get this & stay healthy till we get home.. Zoe feels really sick though still, so please pray that the Lord miraculously heals her tonight!
Also, tomorrow we are going to be spending some time debriefing & allowing the Lord to speak to us concerning this trip & whats next for all of us back home. Please pray for an anointing on our time & that we hear the Lords voice!
Bangkok
We made it to Bangkok! This morning was extremely hard & their were many tears as we said goodbye - we fell in love with the kids & it's hard to leave ...well write more later...
We are about to board our plane to singapore but asking for prayer for team health. Allie is better than last night, but still sick & hard to not be able to rest as we travel...also, Zoe came down with maybe the same thing & is pretty sick & could use prayer for healing. Overall, the team is just feeling exhausted & in need of sleep...pray that the lord gives us rest on this flight & sustains us until we can have a good night sleep at our hotel. Thanks
Day 10 - Loving The Staff
It was a really sweet last full day in Thailand. The highlight of our day was that we were able to bless the entire Baan Immanuel staff with taking them out to lunch! We went to this really nice Thai hotel & had an all-you-can-eat buffet, thai style! Our team was spread out amongst the staff & it was really encouraging & unifying for us to talk with them. These two weeks have been really awesome for the team to connect with & feel one with what God is doing through these God-fearing leaders!
After lunch, we were able to spend some time laying hands on the staff & asking God to anoint them as they continue to surrender their lives daily to give these kids an abundant life in Christ! We are continued to be blown away at what God is doing through these flawed men & women! God is so good, and we are truly encouraged to go back home & serve Christ with the same passion & dedication that they do!
This afternoon, we spent hanging out with our new found friends, playing soccer & for the most part saying our goodbyes...Tomorrow morning at breakfast is officially the last time we will see all the kids...and that will be really hard for all of us. These kids have absolutely changed us forever & we truly do love these kids as our brothers & sisters in Christ! The Lord has truly gone above & beyond on this trip & the end has come too quick for most of us - our hearts are truly here in Thailand & for all of us - its the start of a long term relationship with our family here!
PRAYER REQUESTS: A few more of our team members had to go to our friendly neighborhood hospital again tonight. Allie came down with the same thing that Thomas, Kendall & Justin had & tonight we went & she too has Tonsillitis :( She's sleeping now, has antibiotics in her system & we are praying that the Lord heals her just as he has done the others...But please pray that she sleeps well tonight, her body is healed quickly & that she is sustained emotionally, mentally & spiritually in the midst of this. (P.s. Its Allie's 16th Birthday today and we celebrated at lunch - but come night, she got sick...so its a real bummer, but pray that the Lord is the lifter of her head & still gives her joy!) Also, John Sinclair, Aaron & Justin have really bad canker sores & they went to the hospital as well to get treatment. Pray that the Lord really covers our team - we have a big travel day tomorrow as we head to Singapore for our team debriefing, and we really need physical strength as we travel. Pray also, that the Lord really meets us in our time in Singapore as we reflect on all the God had done here & how from this trip we can take what we've seen/learned and apply it to our lives back home!

Thomas, Kendall & Justin woke up feeling tons better! They feel 80-90% healed! So praise the lord! God is so good to heal our team & sustain us! Thnx for praying!
Day 9 - The Elephant Camp
Today was a very restful & awesome day. We got off to a late start which was nice...compared to the usually 5:30am wake-up bell...haha. For lunch Ron took us to the amazing restaurant where we has great tasting food & ate for sure more than we needed to! (Caleb won with 13 Shish-kabobs eaten!).
After that we headed up the Rimkok river on longtail boats! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! We spent 45min. enjoying the countryside before we came to our destination, "The Eplehant Camp" This place is epic; you can feed the elephants, pet them & then we got to take a ride on them through town. The kids had a really sweet time enjoying thailand, soaking up alot of its culture and also resting after a few hard days spiritually.
We came back & made the most of our second to last night here. We had a crazy soccer game; thai's vs. furongs (sorry- no pictures, we were all playing;) and considering we had no skill & they are amazing we put up a good fight. We were up for the first half but then the came back & beat us 4-3. Soccer games almost each afternnon at the orphanage are one of the highlights for all of us...but also another reason why we are all so exhausted every day!
Other than that, we tried to make the most of our time here & just be silly & play with the kids. The Lord is supernaturally using us to love these kids in ways we don't even understand! We are truly rejoicing in Christ! (Ephesians 3:20) We are really trying to fight back our thoughts at how hard it is to say goodbye to these kids. Pray that tomorrow would be so sweet as it is our last night & we say our goodbyes..
UPDATE ON OUR HEALTH: After Hanging back all day & resting; Thomas, Kendall & Justin all feel at least 60% better when we asked them tonight! They are moving around, smiling & laughing and we are thanking the Lord for healing them & sustaining them so quickly! But they are still sick, and not ready to go running around just yet - so please pray for continued healing!
PRAYER REQUESTS: Tomorrow is our last full day here at the orphanage before heading to Singapore to debrief and we are asking you guys pray that we finish well with all the Lord has called us to. Tomorrow we have the privilege to take the whole staff from all the orphanages out to lunch! Pray that they are blessed by the team & that good conversations arise that encourage both them & us. The team that the Lord has raised up here in Northern Thailand is amazing, so pray that the Lord uses all of us to encourage them & spur them on towards Christ!
Health Update
The whole team slept in today & is feeling alot more rested. Thomas, Justin & Kendall still feel sick but feel better than last night. They are going to stay home today, rest & try and beat this thing. They are in high spirits and it seems like that the Lord is sustaining them through this. Continue to pray for health & endurance for the team to finish the trip well.
The rest of the team is leaving in about 15 min to go out & have a little R&R today. Ron is taking us to a restaurant for lunch & then up to the Elephant camp, where we can ride elephants & just have a relaxing day enjoying thailand's beauty!
Pray that we get healed, refreshed, strengthened & encouraged by Christ today!
Pray for Health
Pray for Health!
Throughout the day a few of our team members have been feeling pretty sick, and tonight we went to the hospital to get them checked out. Justin, Kendall & Thomas got seen and it ends up that all 3 of them have a small throat infection (tonsillitis or laryngitis). Parents - don't be scared or worried! The hospital that we went to is a private Christian hospital that the orpahanage uses & trusts completely...there are English speaking doctors there & it has the best medical care in the north. The doctors prescribed antibiotics & the kids are now asleep and were hopeful that after sleeping in, resting tomorrow, keeping hydrated & taking the anitibiotics they will feel better. We are trusting that the Lord is in this & that he being the great physcian will heal our kids and still be glorified in whats happening!
But we are asking that you pray with us for healing for these 3 as well as continued health for the rest of the team. Parents, we will update again tomorrow morning with how the team is doing.

Day 8 - Burma
Day 8 - We left Baan Farm at around 9am and headed north to head into Burma. On the way we stopped by Dui Tung, the village in which the Queen's garden is located. We walked the garden & marveled at how beautiful it was!
After that, P-Nu insisted that we stop by his village & get some hot tea before heading to Burma. P-Nu is Ron's right hand man; he oversees the orphanage & is an invaluable part of this ministry. When we arrived, the village chief (a beleiver) had fresh mango & hot tea ready for us. Naturally we were super humbled & blessed & got to spend a while sitting & listening to Ron share about his heart for Thailand. The team was once again encouraged & inspired by all that Ron said...
Early afternoon, we reached the Burma border. The team went there to shop/pass out bible tracks & also visit the orpahnge that Baan Immnuel supports. Because Burma is a very oppressive & closed country to the gospel, both things we wanted to do needed to be done carefully. Because much attntion is drawn by 19 fruongs (foreighners) walking around, only TJ & Zoe could go visit the orphanage... (TJ & ZOe were the only ones that could go, bc they are the only team members that can pass for not being american...haha & in turn not have the govt. draw attention to this christian work). While they went there, the rest of the team shopped and startegicallly gave out tracks to merchants & beggars! The Lord gave us lots of favor & it was sweet to see how people received them.
PRAYER REQUESTS: The Burma Orpahange is in despereate need of prayer! Going there, Zoe & TJ got a firsthand look at the horrific conditions the kids are living in. The Kids have literally nothing; they sleep on the floor, have no clean water, are getting sick bc of that (i.e. Malaria) and they are under constant persecution by the govt. The neat thing though, was that the team bought clothes, toys & a guitar for them and Zoe & TJ were able to deliver it, share the word with them & worship together. The main prayer request & need right now is funds for them to move father away from town so they can buy land; and in turn have clean water, suffer less persecution & have an overall better quality of life. Please join with us in prayer for them - they are such sweet kids & so in need.
Overall, we felt covered, safe & that the LOrd gave us favor to minister there today. Thank you all for praying around the clock for our team - we really feel it!
Day 7 - Church
Today was church...the way it works at the orphanage is that every sunday they either have church at the orphanage in the meeting hall or they go on an outreach to a local village to preach the gospel. Today since all the orphanages were at Baan Farm, we had church here. It was neat because we got to experience a thai service but also got to participate in it. The worship team consisted of half thai/half furongs! Zoe, Justin & Aaron got to be apart of that...Also, Ryan shared the word and Ron translated it into thai! We took communion together, worshiped & prayed together and got to see the body of christ in action despite cultural barriers!
We got a special visit from a dear friend. He was an orphan and is now a radical evangelist in Southeast Asia. He lives hours away but took a bus this morning just to visit us for the day. The team got to have lunch with him & hear how the Lord is leading him to preach the gospel and see people get saved. We were all really humbled at how the Lord is using this man & all encouraged to serve Jesus with boldness like he does.
After church...the team had a pretty mellow afternoon hanging with the kids and continuing to build relationships. Overall, it again was a really awesome day & a great experience for the whole team.
PRAYER REQUESTS: Tomorrow we are heading north and going into Burma (Myanmar) for the day. We are going to pray over that country & and for a few members of the team to go to the orphanage that Baan Immanuel supports there. Please pray for safety as we travel there as well as spiritual protection for the team as they enter into such a dark place. Pray that the team continues to learn how to engage in spiritual warfare & walk in victory. Pray that the Lord shows us how to pray & be effective tomorrow.

Day 6
We started the day off as usual with breakfast, devotional & hanging out with the kids...but around 10am Ron gathered all the guys & wanted us to go with him on an adventure by boat down the Rimkok river! The only thing was, that we only had one raft for 12 of us, so we improvised & blew up some air mattresses to use to float down the river. We ended up drifting for almost 2 hrs. & it was incredible...we dont have time to go into detail - but all you need to know, is that it was an unbeleievable adventure & something the boys we'll never forget! Come the afternoon, we had a crazy mud soccer game! The teams were mixed, thai & furong (what they call foreigners) and even though the thai's are amazing athletes we gave it all we got & gave them a run for their money!! It was tons of fun!! After dinner, the birthday celebrations began! The kids have been practicing for 3 days & tonight presented different forms of thai dance for us! They were all decked out with their tribal clothing & it was so sweet to get to watch them preform! Allie Nixon's birthday is in a few ways, so they included her in the festivities as well! It was a more mellow day in some ways, but also seemed like we kept busy participating in orphanage life. The team is loving the kids, building sweet relationships & is already worried about how hard it is going to be when we leave. With today being somewhat of the middle of the trip we are asking that you continue to pray that we finish well with our time here. Pray that we continue to press into the Lord & that we have him lead these last few days here!Also, Ryan (Rizz) is sharing at church tomorrow & would covet your prayers for anointing as he preaches the word to the whole orphanage. Day 5
Today was another great day! The kids arrived mid-afternoon & it was game time! We jumped right into playing, ta-kah (volleyball with your feet), soccer & volleyball. If we werent playing sports we were running around with kids just having a ton of fun! The team is really connecting with the kids and our hearts are being knit with theirs...we are blown away that the joy these kids have in the Lord despite their circumstances!
The highlight of the night was dinner by far! The leaders of the orphanage spent all day preparing the pig that they had killed earlier & we joined with them in a traditional thai form of eating called "Moo-kah-tah". You have ceramic buckets filled with hot coals with a metal grill on top, and you use it to cook your own food. The pig was absolutely amazing & we got to sit & eat with all 3 orphanages for a few hours. We all were blown away at the labor of love these people showed us in putting this together! In our de-briefing time tonight we all shared & agreed that tonight was probably the greatest night of our lives! We are constantly blown away at how privileged we are to be here & to experience the love & joy that all the orphans have because of Christ!
Before all the kids arrive this afternoon, we took a trip to a nearby mall, called Big C and the team bought tons of stuff for the kids. Things that were needed were; sports equipment, clothing, toys, etc. It was so much fun & such a blessing to use part of the funds we raised to buy such needed items for all the kids!
For those that supported us; thank you so much for making it possible for us to do this! The staff & the kids are so blessed that we can provide for them in this way!
