When you've matched and you hear other people talking about their matches
When you and your best friend see each other in class after both matching to your top choices
...you both just wanna be chill about it
...but as soon as no one else is around you're both
When you've applied multiple times and still don't get Matched
When you Match!
What it's like trying to log into D&D on Match Day
No, seriously. I know that it is really difficult, but do your best to relax and go do something. The last few years, the system has crashed and people have difficulty signing in for a couple of hours.
I really don't expect this year to be any different.
So, the best thing you can do is go to the mall, go see a movie, go do SOMETHING where you don't have immediate access to the internet, turn off your phone, and check your match info a couple of hours after it goes live.
It's extremely hard, but it's better for your mental health.
What you want to do to everyone who doubts your ability to get an internship or pass the RD exam
When you find out the classmate you've always competed with is applying to the same DI as you
When someone asks a question about the program when it's clearly on the program's webpage
When you apply for the 2nd time
When someone goes "Wait. You're a dietetic intern/nutrition student and you eat like THAT?"
This happened again recently, so I'm reblogging from myself.
On the first day of your rotation, how you secretly feel
The Matching process, DICAS, TPN calculations, specialized diet planning, tests, projects or anything else you dislike
How I felt after my first day as a dietetic intern
How I felt after my second day as a dietetic intern
To everyone starting school or an internship
When you find out your classmate who didn't Match in Spring is applying to the same program as you
How you feel after working on your pre-internship paperwork/modules/case studies
