Hey RDR fans! If you've been looking for an active and inclusive Red Dead Redemption server, then look no further; RDR: Safe Haven is a friendly fandom community where everyone is welcome to apply. Want to know a little more?

Alongside our general chat channels to get to know other members, we have dedicated RDR channels to express our love for the game, the characters, and the ships - this includes a 'Spoiler Free' channel for those who are excited to engage with the fandom but protect their first RDR experience! You will also find areas to share art, writing, hobbies & crafts, and even personal goals as we take on 2024. We also host regular server games and activities, a few of which include;

How to Join

Howdy fellow RDR fans and content creators! As you all know, we love and support our lovely writers and when we heard about the Fanart Frenzy, an event made to counteract the recent art commission scammers and to encourage fanfic writers, we knew it was the right event to promote on our blog as well! Sign-ups for the Fandom Frenzy close on December 21st so giddy up to collect those bingo bounties!

What is it?

A bingo event designed to counteract art commission scammers and encourage fic writers by making art for the fics you love in any fandom!

How it works:

Sign up via the entry form below. You’ll get a bingo card with prompts guiding you towards fics in any fandom. Pick a fic, make any kind of art you like (drawings, embroidery, playlists, memes, etc.), and share with the fic author to mark off each square.

Can’t draw?

You can make any kind of art you like – crochet, decorated cookies, composing a score, recording a podfic...

OR join the Fanfic Comment Challenge via the same entry form!

Thanks for your question and apologies for the delay in answering.

While we may occasionally reblog RDR content that comes across our dash, we predominantly focus on sharing the content created by members of the Safe Haven discord server as this blog is, essentially, representative of the server and how we show support for our community.

If you are interested in joining the server you can find the FAQ and joining link on our link list. If you are already a member and would like your content shared (ensuring it meets the SFW requirements for this blog) you can reach out to any of our server staff via discord.

why do the server favor charthur when they're the most toxic ships in the fandom harassing the other ships, why are their ship on top of the list over the canon johnigail? stop playing favorites :/

Hi Anon, This is a rather random ask to receive, so I'm assuming you came from RDRevents blog with this accusation of 'playing favourites'. Safe Haven accommodates all ships and shippers, we cannot control which ship is the most popular among the fandom. Additionally, while each ship (to an extent) has its own area on the server, we do not promote or tolerate any form of hostility towards ships or other members. Charthur is at the top of the list of the ships because our ship-channels are structured alphabetically, with the exception of Character x Reader and OC x Reader which we grouped at the bottom of the ship list. Also, as you seem to be a member of the server, you should realise that the server was created by a morston-shipper, so there would be no reason, should favouritism be at play, for it to be charthur. If you have any further concerns about the server, please submit via the anonymous feedback form available on the server. All the best, ~ RDRsafehaven
