hold the fuck on... why am i hearing this just recently?

git, the code versioning tool, is pronounced with a hard G and always has been. this isn't a gif/jif thing it's just been this way since the start. now within the past few weeks i've seen a few videos and heard a colleague pronounce it "jit"

you look it up on wikipedia and it specified hard G git. mr linux himself linus torvalds calls it git.

How do you pronounce git (the code versioning tool)?

hard G git like gift (correct)

soft G jit like giraffe (incorrect)

i dont use this word regularly

I just watched all of SAOA, swe please go faster, I know it hasn’t been that long. But I’ve never had to wait for another part in a series, literally never. I don’t watch ongoing shows that don’t at least have 3 seasons.

I’ve never even watched fr SAO, so I have ZERO idea on how long the rest of it is, but swe said they’d planned to do all of it soooooo.
