Hello! I'm a fellow portlander. I was just wondering what brushes you use for your line work? Do you think you'll create any process videos? Love your work.

Hey and thanks for the compliment! Right now I do most of my non-digital linework with a combination of Pentel Pocket Brush pen and Micron (usually an 08). I use these tools because they are super convenient for working quickly and freely. For touch-ups on my scanned linework and for pieces that are all digital, I’ve experimented with a few of Kyle Webster’s brushes but I haven’t landed on any one pick that fully satisfies me yet.

I haven’t given much thought to making process videos yet but the idea’s been in the back of my mind for a while. Keep an eye out. :)
