I'm pretty sure the immigrants aren't in humane conditions right now though? Given I could be wrong, I haven't done the most reading up on it. However from what I've seen.... They are not humane.
Which is a problem that needs to be addressed. But let’s be fair here:
It started off humane. It did. We all saw that. Then they got MILLIONS OF THEM. MILLIONS. It’s kinda difficult to whip up containment for that amount of people quickly.
And before other people go, “well they should just let them go until they have proper facilities” NO. Because believe it or not, they are saving LIVES. After doing genetic testing, turns out 30% of those tested weren’t related. 30% were being human trafficked/used as mules/whatever. 30% of those poor babies were being used and abused. Not all the immigrants are just poor babies trying to get a better life by breaking the law.
I don’t know about y’all, but I’d rather have to live in dirty temporary conditions than be sexually abused for the rest of my, probably pretty short, life. 30% is too high.
