Wanderlust has been fully recolored and just needs a few finishing touches for print! I'll be re-releasing the shiny new pages on Webtoon, Tapas, and other pages shortly, and then Chapter 3 pages will be forthcoming!

In regards to the print version, I've decided to push it to early 2025. I would rather that I can get the next chapter of the story to readers sooner than later, than to have the first ones in print. I want to have time to prepare a proper budget, all reward options, and be ready to fulfill all those rewards. And if I can get Chapter 3 in full swing, then I'll have some more fun surprises in store that will be included in the Volume I book and rewards! Thank you all so much for the patience!

A question for you all - or rather two!

1) What extra stuff would you like to see as bonus art in the printed book of Wanderlust Volume 1 (which will include both chapter 1 and 2 with fully repainted color)?

2) What reward options and extras would you be interested in for Kickstarter rewards, if buying a copy? (There will be a cheap tier for digital only copies of the book too!)

...And yes, the recolor is complete 🙌 Just adding the finishing touches and brand new extra content!

It's been a bit - I'm about halfway through Chapter 2's pages. Here's a taste of how they're coming along :)

It's taking some time, but wanted to at least share a little taste of how the recolored pages for Wanderlust are coming along. I am aiming to pick up the pace after the holidays and would love to have print copies of the first volume ready sometime in mid-to-late 2024 (as well as have chapter 3 moving along by then)!

Wanderlust is returning, and the first two chapters are getting a remaster for publishing! FYI, Patrons will get to see the whole revised comic as it's being worked on, before it goes to print (and they'll have first dibs on special copies of the first printing)! ✨

in terms of remastering the design, are you going to just recolor/add fresh colors or is the style changing too?

I'll be updating a bit of the dialogue, but the style is going to be relatively the same! I'll be keeping 90% of the lineart as-is and will be painting in a more muted, gritty, Appalachian palette!

Just wanted to pop in and thank you for creating this masterpiece of a webcomic!

More trans men as leads in their own comics, I say!

But honestly, it’s SO rare to see, here.

I can probably count around 4 or 5 that I’m just aware of that have this (& one is a manga, boys run the riot, that I just found out about this last year), vaguely.

So, thank you for being an inspiration to me & I truly hope to see more things to come!

Aww dude thank you so much! I struggled to find much representation for trans men as comic leads, and especially trans men I felt I could relate to (slightly older characters, not superheroes, etc).

I'm always SO happy to hear that someone is enjoying the story and finds it inspiring! I hope you'll like the direction it goes in Chapter III as well! (And I'll have to check out Boys Run the Riot!)

Wanderlust Returns!

Life's been a heck of a roller coaster ride for the past several months, and now, after a lot of soul searching, I'm doing absolutely fantastic.

Wanderlust had to be put on hold while I figured out what steps I had to take in order to get back in action, and I'm finally ready to leap back in. The news, as promised, is this:

1. Wanderlust is going to be published IN PRINT. The timeline is currently TBD, and it's going to be fully *remastered* - there will be reformatting, updated dialogue and brand-new color. This will be a massive undertaking, as I will be going back to the lineart to start the color work from scratch, but once this process is finished, the art moving forward will be completely print-ready!

2. Chapter III is fully written and partially "boarded". I want to get a good head start on the print preparation of the first two chapters before I dive in too deep on the third, so there will still be a measurable delay on new pages. 

3. I'm in the midst of establishing changes for Patreon, as it will take time before I can produce new pages to share with you all - that being said, the Wanderlust Patreon WILL also be returning soon! The rewards may be a tad different until chapter III is rolling but there will be options for anyone who wishes to support it in the meantime! I'm beyond thankful to those who do wish to help fund the work that goes into it and make Wanderlust possible.

With the comic becoming a published print book, will it still be available to read online? YES. For the time being, Wanderlust won't be exclusive to print-only format, so don't worry, it isn't disappearing from Webtoon or Tapas anytime soon. The new remastered pages will be released to Patrons first!

I can't express my deepest gratitude to every one of you who has patiently waited for this story to return, and how much it means to me that you've followed Sophie and Ace on this journey so far! I am sincerely thrilled for the day I get to release the next chapter, and in the meantime, I hope you're as excited as I am for the newly polished print release!
